特點一(Key1)：
一個顯著不同的性別辨識就是他們的側邊斑紋，母魚有較長的橙黃色斑紋及較少側線以下鮮明的深色斑點。公魚的側邊斑紋較鮮明生動，測線以下的鮮明斑點較豐富。
One of the striking differences of the sex dimorphism is the side markings. Female do have larger orange markings and less vivid darker spots below the lateral line. the male side markings are much livelier.
特點二(Key2)：
母魚的頭部較大，身上的深棕色遍佈在整個頭部及背部。
The female's head is much larger and the its color darker brownish all over the head and back.
特點三(Key3)：
母魚另一個性別分辨就是介在眼部到腮蓋之間的頭部較寬。
Another sex dimorphism is that the female has a broad head between eye and gills.
特點四(Key4)：
雄魚各鰭的張力會比雌魚來的有魄力，背鰭較高聳，藍光則較厚實。
此魚有個特別的習性就是會找相同的地方休憩。這種魚是地方性的 並且都在同一處被發現
