一、具体钟头读法

At+时间：针对某个特定事件使用

例如：The meeting starts at five o’clock.

It is+时间、it’s+时间：当别人问你时间话题时，用这个回答。

What time is it?或What’s the time?

——It is half past three.

英式读法：

整点：数字+o’clock

每一小时在时钟转一个圈的话，前半小时用past，后半小时用to

15分要用quarter

举例：

5:00——five o’clock.

5:05——five past five.（直接说five，而不是five o’clock）

5:10—— ten past five.

5:15——quarter past five.

5:30——half past five.

5:35—— twenty-five to six.

5:45——quarter to six.

美式读法：

具体时间直接读取数字

例如：

9:15 读作 nine fifteen

8:01读作eight o one(O是读字母O的发音)

整点的读法，6:00一般读作Six，想强调整点的话，可以说Six sharp或者six on the dot

年份怎么读

整千年：读作“X thousand”： 1000=one thousand 2000=two thousand

整百年：读作“X hundred”： 1900=nineteen hundred 600=six hundred

百位是零：

读作“X thousand and Y”，常省略and： 2008=two thousand （and） eight

1054=one thousand fifty-four

百位不是零

读作“X hundred and Y”，常省略hundred and： 1997=nineteen （hundred and ）ninety-seven

1811=eighteen eleven

十位是零：零读作oh： 1908=nineteen hundred and eight 或 nineteen oh eight

三位以内数字的年份：一般是按照基数词的方法来读。

531 BC 读作 five hundred (and) thirty-one BC

日期的写法可以采用基数词和序数词两种形式。

例如： March 1也可以写成March 1st；May 29也可以写成May 29th。

但是，日期的读法只能用序数词的形式。

例如： October 31（October 31st）读作October（the）thirty-first

August 26（August 26th）读作August（the）twenty-sixth

1.美式: 读作：October the eleventh,two thousand and six. 写作：Oct 11,2006 or Oct 11th,2006. 2.英式： 11th of October, two thousand and six . 其它同美式.

英式和美式的区别在于顺序：

美：月日,年

英：日月,年
