二．Hit的习惯用法
Hit the sheets 上床睡觉
Hit the sheets only when sleepy.
只有瞌睡的时候才上床睡觉。
同样是上床睡觉，go to the bed 就太普通了，虽广泛运用，不是说不地道，但比起Hit the sheets这个地道的美国英语用法有点逊色。
释义为上床睡觉的其他Hit的习惯用法有：

三．beat, hit, strike用法区别
1. beat的用法
beat 强调连续或反复地“打”，因此像心脏跳动、打鼓、打拍子等之类具有连续性或反复性的动作，一般要用 beat。如：
My heart beats fast. 我的心跳得很快。
Who is beating the drum? 谁在击鼓?
She was beating the dust out of the carpet. 她在敲打地毯上的灰尘(以敲打的方式除尘)。
2. hit和strike的用法
hit 和 strike 都可表示有意或无意地打或撞等，往往含有重重一击或用力敲打等之意，此时两者常可换用。如：
He hit [struck] her hard in the face. 他重重地打了她一耳光。
The car ran out of control and hit [struck] a tree. 汽车失去控制，撞在树上。
