“参加派对 join a party”居然是中式英语?! 这十几年你一直说错了！

最近,我发现,很多同学都把参加派对,说成'join a party', ,并且自信的认为这是很地道的口语表达。

其实在日常口语中,join基本上不能翻译为参加,join a party这个用法,外国人表达的另外一个意思。

如果你邀请别人，说Would you like to join us？比would you like to join the party, 更加口语化。

（侧重于成为其中的一员）

join还可以用来表示

join a party

=加入一个党派

=加入排队的行列

中式英语：

I will join a party tomorrow.

地道表达：

I will go to a party tomorrow.

中式英语：

I'm joining a party now.

地道表达：

I'm at a party now.

attend 一般用于正式场合，比如:attend the business meeting 参加商务会议，attend the wedding 参加婚礼。

take part in 的侧重点不在于参加，而是参与其中，并对活动结果产生作用。比如参加比赛:take part in competition
