In the context of wood's creation, he first used Sports Themed images in the dynamic post pop portrait series. Those images come from boxing, baseball and basketball star cards. It is worth noting that these star cards have a strong relationship with celebrities and nostalgia. With the further development of his creation, wood began to be more interested in depicting the physical space related to sports.
