My work is closely tied to the house I grew up in and its minimalist aesthetic. There was no room to breathe, and my work seemed to replicate it, filling every inch of the fabric with symbols and objects.A lot of my work is inspired by my son Khalifa and has to do with what he's looking at or playing with.
