Yang Jiayong's painting is a secondary purification and multiple derivative variants of the objective object's features. The color concentration is full and abundant, the brushwork tensions are endless, and the denseness of the purity of the painting language all implies that the artist's attitude toward the real space and the state of life Nervousness and contradiction are undoubtedly the soil in which one belongs to his own painting kingdom.

Yang Jiayong's painting language focused on self-expression. In his pictures, all the figurative forms were highly abstracted, left only the most striking visual focus. Such as a faint scar, a pile of bloody rotten meat, some gradual decay substances, etc. Complemented by vivid strokes and strong colors, it strengthened the psychological experience, and increased the visual tension. This kind of symbolic expression and metaphor is a kind of abstraction of the image from the visual to the heart. It is more shocking compared with the true representation of objects, and can bring out resonance. Lu Xun once criticized some declining quintessence of Chinese culture with "swelling is as red as rose, fester is beautiful like cheese." Obviously, this metaphor and symbol highlighted the degree of redness and ulceration. Yang Jiayong understand this truth, as well. He expressed the desire of people, not directly portrayed it out, but refined it into the visual perception of scars and ulcers, thus formed an image of the picture not only strengthened the semantic criticism and reflection, but also made image painting more epoch significance.

具体到杨加勇的绘画语言,注重的是自我表现。在他的画面中,所有的具象形态,都被他高度地抽象出来,只剩下最为醒目的视觉焦点。诸如一道隐约的伤痕,一堆血淋淋的烂肉,一些渐渐腐败的物质等等,辅之以生动的笔触与强烈的色彩表现出来,更是强化了心理感受,加大了视觉张力。这种极具象征性的表现手法与隐喻方式,是对物象从目视到心视的一种提炼,往往比真实地再现对象与描绘对象,更能引起共鸣,带来心灵的震撼。这就像鲁迅当年批判某些落寞的国粹,用了“红肿之处,艳若桃李;溃烂之时,美如乳酪”来形容一样。如此这般隐喻和象征,更是加重了红肿与溃烂的意向。杨加勇也谙熟此中道理,他表现人的欲望,不是直接描绘,而是提炼成伤痕与溃烂的视觉感受,由此形成一种意象性的画面,不仅是强化了批判与反思的语义,也是为意象绘画注入了时代内容。

Artistic creation
To be human is to sublimate itself and to destroy the self. I try to read my own picture in my heart. Perhaps the pain and happiness in my body is shared with those people who live in this space today, which is enough to support my determination not to persevere. I like to watch the waves crashing on the rocks on the rocks, pure and powerful, and I like the thrill of breathing in the air deeply from the pubic region. I fell in love with such a state: lively choose lively, painting choose loneliness. In a familiar and unfamiliar world, it is less important that you do what you are most likely to do better, whether it is contemporary or traditional.

欲是人的本性,是升华自我,也是摧毁自我的根源。我在画面中尽量读我自己的内心,也许我身上的那份痛与乐,同今天生活在这个空间里的部分人有所感同身受,已足够支撑我不回头地坚守下去的决心。我喜欢看翻滚而来的巨浪撞击在礁石上的感觉,磅礴、纯粹而不失力量;也喜欢身处大山,从丹田部位深深地呼吸几口空气的快感。我爱上这样一种状态:生活里选择热闹,绘画里选择孤独。在一个熟悉又陌生的世界里,做自己最有可能做得更好的事情,至于它是当代,还是传统,已似乎没那么重要。
