文
一个重要艺术家的现实贡献，我想只能是他创造的个体生命存在的本质，并且以自言自语的方式予以呈现，回馈于社会。我想艺术家吕宗平贡献了一个与真理对话的语词，他个人按照色相的体征命名为“锈墨”。吕宗平和艺术之间有个相对平行的距离，他把艺术完全放置在日常生活之中，在无意义的艺术生活中创造着人的存在本质。一方面，他完全舍弃了手工制作的笔墨技法，转而使用随处可见的生活材料，打开时间扼守的秘密，取回艺术非法占有的个体生命资源，同时发现了自己专属的估且称之为的“锈墨”。
而在另一方面，艺术仍然运动在它的专属轨道上。作为艺术价值的体现，吕宗平的锈墨语言的重要性恰恰在于它既非对艺术的未来寄予期待与企图，也不屑于从传统霸占的资源中分有，兑现继承权，而是以生命的独立自由意志，及时中断了与历史的联系，乐观面对生与死的际会，适时将艺术的创造能力转向为对一种生活方式上挖掘。某种意义上说，吕宗平的艺术行为是“与世隔绝”的，其内在联系也许只有“当代艺术”一词可以接纳。这从一个侧面说明，当代艺术有着无限的可能。

The practical contribution of an important artist, I think, can only be the essence of the existence of the individual life he created, and present it in the way of self-talk, and give back to the society. I think artist lv zongping contributed a word of dialogue with truth, which he named "rust ink" according to the physical sign of the hue. There is a relatively parallel distance between lv zong and art. He puts art completely in daily life and creates human existence essence in meaningless art life. On the one hand, he completely abandoned the hand-made ink technique, materials used can be seen everywhere in life, open the time the secret of the guards, retrieve the art illegal possession of resources, individual life and found their own labelling is called "rust ink".
On the other hand, art is still moving in its exclusive orbit. As the embodiment of the artistic value, the importance of lv zongping rust ink language for the future of the art generated precisely because it is neither the expectation and attempt to disdain from traditional commandeer resources points, cash inheritance, but in the independent free will of life, in a timely manner interrupted contact history, optimistic in the face of life and death race, art creation ability to timely to dig a way of life. In a sense, lv zongping's artistic behavior is "isolated", and its internal connection may only be accepted by the term "contemporary art". This explains from a side that contemporary art has infinite possibilities.

ABOUT ARTIST
养画·吕宗平（yanghua·lvzongping ）1963年出生于中国洪湖，1993年——1996年中央美院学院研究生班毕业，2000年定居于北京。
中国后现代主义艺术家、中国当代艺术界领军人物。他以“极其丰富的材质”为艺术创作媒介作出贡献，在完成作品第一次形态后，将作品进行第二次、第三次……的多次性的作品生成关系，而不是单个一件作品的完成属性。他是国际上首次将作品变成“材料”的艺术家，通过“锈空”、“求破”、“画白”、“放生”来寻求作品的多次空间与活态性存在形式，不断地让他的作品发生新的艺术机制，与环境、与人、与时间不停的“发生关系”。他利用一切废弃物、生活用品、自然植物、工业金属等当作自己的笔和墨，化腐朽为神奇的运行轨迹，来进行对人和物的终极思考，并将这些所有的物质材料，进行不同程度的转换，包括他自己。虚化实际存在，呼吸灵魂价值与对人的生存关爱。而不是像历史上，与其他艺术家对材料的直接运用来创作所谓的形象表达和图示问题、方法论问题、流派问题等，他是在唤醒时空中的物质的量浓，寻找不可知的世界面貌、人的直觉表现来完成生命个体的运动状态，整个生命不同过程中的形态。吕宗平曾获得中国最重要的艺术家奖项，1995年6月首次在中国美术馆成功的举办个展，创立“锈墨艺术研究院”，成为《中国十墨》中最具代表性的艺术家、新京派院士、北京铸巢美术馆馆长。
养画·吕宗平热衷于关注人类生命问题、生存空间问题，他珍惜物质生命中的各种不同状态，以生死轮回，把“人类脆弱而短暂的生命个体”与“自然环境”联系在一起；同时又深深地恐惧着对人类生存环境无处不在、持续不断地肆意破坏，以此来警示和“修复“的表达意志，使得他的作品往往透露出其内心深处的美好愿景。作品不断地被全球众多博物馆、美术馆、大学、基金会和个人收藏。
他艺术的独立性，意味着冒险精神。这个艺术之“种”，是对自己个体力量的信仰。或许，在权威自身尚未形成的领域去耕耘，会有助于实现人格的独立性。因为，我们在各种信息和徒有其表的可能性下拔苗助长、资源浪费，却毫无建设性的价值可言；我们发展了自己接受新事物的能力，却忽视了我们自身内在的程式化倾向。与那些“创造力自然地存在于日常活动中的文明”相比，精神崩溃更频繁地发生在我们的文明之中，这些并非偶然。这一现实意味着：我们不能再活在缥缈虚无的云端之上，而应回到现实世界里，去感受其中最真实的事物真相。
