闭孔神经在膀胱充盈状态下直接位于膀胱的侧壁，膀胱肿瘤切除时引起的任何电刺激均可发生闭孔神经反射诱发内收肌收缩，轻则影响手术进程，给患者带来不适，重则造成膀胱穿孔，甚至损伤闭孔动脉引起大出血，而且穿孔会导致肿瘤播散，影响患者预后。髋关节的感觉神经由骨神经耻骨肌支、坐骨神经股方肌支，闭孔神经前支及后支关节支支配旧，其中闭孔神经后支关节支支配前内侧关节囊。超声引导下髂筋膜间隙，对闭孔神经的阻滞成功率高达95.2%，效果良好，具有很高的临床应用价值。膝关节部神经分布可以分为浅、深2层。浅层由股部前方皮神经和股后皮神经组成，深层由关节支组成，膝关节囊部分由闭孔神经支配,闭孔神经阻滞可有效缓解股薄肌肌腱重建前交叉韧带术后疼痛，因为闭孔神经的前支支配小腿肌。

Ultrasound (US)-guided obturator nerve block is simpler to perform andmore reliable than surface landmark–based techniques. There are two approachesto performing a US-guided obturator nerve block. The interfascial injectiontechnique relies on injecting local anesthetic solution into the fascial planesthat contain the branches of the obturator nerve. With this technique, it isnot important to identify the branches of the obturator nerve on the sonogram,but rather to identify the adductor muscles and the fascial boundaries withinwhich the nerves lie. This is similar in concept to other fascial plane blocks
