仇晓飞

Qiu Xiao Fei

仇晓飞，1977年生于黑龙江哈尔滨，2002年毕业于中央美术学院油画系，并于次年加入了具代表性的中国青年艺术团体“N12”。仇晓飞的艺术实践包括油画、水彩、立体绘画雕塑及装置等媒材，他的早期创作关注与记忆有关的图像溯源学，近期创作则经历了从“绘画再现”到“再现绘画”的过程，创作主题逐渐深入到对文化心理及社会潜意识的探索，挖掘绘画行动推进过程中的即兴与不稳定性，在混杂而丰富的意象间寻找具有张力的平衡点。

Qiu Xiaofei was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang in 1977.  He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 and joined the representative Chinese youth art group 'N12' the following year.Qiu Xiaofei's artistic practice includes oil painting, watercolor, three-dimensional painting sculpture, installation and other media.  His early creations focused on the tracing of images related to memory, and his recent creations have undergone a process from 'painting reproduction' to 'reproduction painting'.  The themes of his creations have gradually deepened into the exploration of cultural psychology and social subconsciousness, excavating the spontaneity and instability in the process of painting action promotion, and finding a tension-balanced point among the mixed and rich images.

仇晓飞：我印象里当时很多人都对抽象的转变有疑虑。其实绘画的路径到底是什么，观众并不是特别关心。但是对于画画的人来说，路径非常重要，因为路径会决定之后往哪去走，但是一张画的结果，它可能仅仅展现出起始的点。“即兴”这个词有很多歧义，我所针对的是以文本为起点，再经过视觉设计的绘画，这和从视觉本身开始构思一张画，是两种完全不同的路径。

Qiu Xiaofei: I remember that many people had doubts about the abstract transformation at that time.In fact, the audience was not particularly concerned about the path of painting.However, for those who paint, the path is very important, because it will determine where to go next.  However, the result of a painting may only show the starting point.The word 'improvisation' has many ambiguities.  What I am referring to is painting that starts with text and then goes through visual design.  This is a completely different path from starting to conceive a painting from the perspective of visual design.

仇晓飞：我要穿越过绘画史的线性逻辑，在不同时代的理念之间找到某种共通点，绘画作为一种认知，它可以逃脱出图像对于绘画的束缚，也能脱离形而上的束缚。画家还是一个手工艺者，如果能通过自己的实践和这个世界达到某种共通性，那种合二为一的状态，绘画就不会走向所谓的终结了。从当下回溯到原始性，被穿越的点都还在，我的工作是如何去把它们分成层级，融合在今天的绘画中，不断地去融合。

Qiu Xiaofei: I want to go through the linear logic of painting history and find some common ground between the concepts of different times.  Painting as a kind of cognition can escape the constraints of images on painting, and also break away from metaphysical constraints.The painter is also a craftsman.  If he can achieve some commonality with the world through his own practice, the state of integration will not lead to the so-called end of painting.From the present back to the originality, the points that have been passed through are still there.  My job is how to divide them into levels and integrate them into today's painting, and constantly integrate them.
