In snowy Chicago, David Wells had his snow shovel stolen (铲雪锹被偷走啦,使役结构“to have sth +Ved”)from the front of his house. The thief was a woman who used the shovel to clear a space for her car, and then didn’t return it.
So, to get revenge(为了报复,不定式短语做目的状语), Wells used a gas-powered snow blower to bury the woman’s car in snow (用一台燃气驱动的吹雪机把这个妇女的小车给埋了). Ultimately, it took her four hours to dig her car out(把车挖出) of this man-made blizzard (人造暴风雪).
How do we know this happened? Well, it was all captured on security cameras(全被保安摄像机给摄下来啦,to capture,原意为“捕获”).
