趙元濤, ?Artist Bio Yuantao Zhao, also known as Songsheng (courtesy name), was a descendant of Mengjie Zhao (1254?-1322?, a renowned painter and art collector in Yuan dynasty). Zhao specialized in depicting pine’s twisted roots and intricate gnarls. His works are well-known for vividly presenting shapes, forms, and dynamics of landscape objects.
