1．软件准备
Trados版本：TRADOS 6.5 Freelance
MultiTerm：Trados Multiterm 5.5
Office：office2003

2．安装软件
1）安装office2003
2）安装Trados
破解方法：
1) 先安装Trados 6.5 demo，点击目录下的Setup.exe，和普通软件一样一步步安装。
2) 安装成功以后开始破解，在软件包里找Trados v6.5 Dongle emulator目录，找到install.bat，双击运行一下。
”About..”如果出现下图，就说明破解成功了(图1)。
3) 重启系统，启动十分钟以后dongle才生效, 约10分钟后打开 workbench, “Help”
3）安装MultiTerm 5.5
4）检查安装
所需软件全部安装完成后，打开office word，word界面中出现如图所示图标
注意：trados与金山词霸等翻译工具冲突，使用trados时请不要打开金山词霸等翻译工具；
安装trados后，请等待10分钟再打开trados；
安装软件过程中，注意语言选择；
注意第一次打开trados时的路径选择。
3．创建术语库
1）使用excel创建术语表
中英文或者英中文各一列，两列中都是绝对不能有空行，每个术语的前后也不要留有空格；
每列的第一行相应写入“English”和“Chinese”，或者相反（第一行内不能用中文！）；英语列格式化为Arial，10号，中文列格式化为宋体10号，两列的第一行比照英语列处理。
2）转换文件格式
1.开始->所有程序->Trados 6.5 Freelance->T- Windows->T- Window for Excel
选择Tools->Convert Excel File to MultiTerm 5 Import Format
2. Convert format
选择“Source File”，打开要转换的excel术语表；
选择“Target File”，选择文件存放目标路径；
点击“Load Source”，加载excel文件；
点击“Convert”，转换文件格式。
转换完毕后，会在目标路径下出现.txt文件，此文件便是所需的MultiTerm 5 Import文件
3）创建术语库
1.创建termbase
2.设置Termbase Definition
创建新的Index Fields：Chinese，并设置Chinese的Default Font为：宋体
其他不用设置，点击“OK”；
设置保存路径和名称，一个新的termbase就建好了。
3.导入
术语表
选择File->Import，在打开的页面中不做任何操作，直接点击“OK”；
选择打开要导入的.txt文件，术语库就建好了。
4．创建Translation Memory
1）打开创建页面
2）设置Translation Memory
选择“Source languages”和“Target languages”，点击“Create”；
选择保存路径和名称，一个新的Translation Memory就建好了。
5．开始翻译
打开translation workbench，在translation workbench里面的option菜单选择terminology recognition options。指定multiterm的版本和术语库的位置以及源语言和目标语言的类别，然后在translation workbench中的2个翻译框的右边就出现了一个长方形的框,这就是术语显示的地方；
打开multiterm,然后打开multiterm的术语库,然后点击multiterm的File菜单下的Create Fuzzy Index；
打开word进行翻译，可以在word的workbench工具条上使用workbench工具条的最后3个按钮添加该术语到翻译单元中了
Fuzzy index
An index created by MultiTerm which allows you to find misspelled or transposed terms during a fuzzy search. Use the Reorganise command from time to time to maintain the fuzzy index.
Fuzzy search
A type of search where MultiTerm can find terms that are similar or identical to the search text. You can turn the fuzzy search feature on and off in MultiTerm and in MultiTerm Online.
7.0版本的Fuzzy search可以在MultiTerm工具列[Search] - [Activate Fuzzy Search]选择
MultiTerm features improved fuzzy search functionality. The fuzzy index is now dynamically
updated when you add, edit or import entries as well as when you reorganise the termbase.
The fuzzy index is dynamically updated by importing or by saving after editing or adding an
entry. Another way of updating your fuzzy index is to reorganise your termbase. This eliminates
redundant data from your fuzzy index. If your fuzzy search is slow, you should reorganise your
termbase. To do this, select Reorganise Termbase from the Termbase menu. For more information, see “Reorganising your Termbase” on page 12-4.
Reorganising your Termbase
Reorganising a termbase updates the termbase fuzzy index. This means that fuzzy search results are returned quicker and are inclusive of all the latest termbase entries. In TRADOS MultiTerm 7,
unlike MultiTerm 5, the fuzzy index is automatically updated every time you import data to the termbase and every time you edit/add an entry and save. You can also use the Reorganise Termbase command in MultiTerm to reorganise termbases manually.
To reorganise a termbase:
1 Select Reorganise Termbase from the Termbase menu. The Reorganise Termbase dialog box opens.
The Reorganise Termbase dialog box displays a list of the termbases that are currently
open in MultiTerm, and indicates whether each termbase is local or remote.
2 MultiTerm allows you to reorganise more than one termbase at a time. Select the termbase or
termbases you wish to reorganise and click OK.
MultiTerm updates the fuzzy index for the selected termbase(s).
九、模糊搜索
如果要搜索一个不知道确定的拼写或者单词顺序的术语，我们可以使用模糊搜索。
1、要使用模糊搜索，先点击工具栏的模糊搜索按钮。或者使用快捷键[Ctrl] + [A]。
2、在搜索框中，我们输入 road safety association，并且按回车键。
3、虽然在我们的术语库中，实际上并没有这个术语，但是，模糊搜索可以给出最相关或相似的术语。
