if i ’ve described somebody/something primarily as …， it’s because that’s where the problem is。如果我们把某人/某事主要描绘成…，这恰恰因为症结所在。

these stories suggested that …。 they also imply that … 这些故事表明…。它们也暗示…。（该句suggest引导的从句不用虚拟，因为此处suggest不表“建议”。）
