1. 转译为动词

汉语中动词使用较多，英语句中只有一个动词。英语中 名词，介词，形容词，副词，可转译为动词。

1）名词转译为动词

例句：

We gave the delegation a warm welcome.

我们热烈欢迎代表团。

He took a last look at his beautiful country.

他看了美丽的祖国最后一眼。

2）表示职业，身份的-er名词，有很强的动作意味，可译为动词

例句：

Some of my students are good singers.

同学中有些人唱歌唱得很好。

Talking with his son, the old man was the forgiver of the young man's past wrong doings.

和儿子谈话时，老人原谅了儿子过去所干的坏事。

3）介词转译为动词

例句：

They went out afternew mineral resource day after day.

他们天天外出，寻找新矿源。

They had a captain over them.

有个首领管辖他们。

The representatives are going to vote on the motion.

代表们将投票决定这项议案。

4）形容词转译为动词

表示知觉，情感，欲望的形容词，在系动词后做表语，可译为动词。

They are very much concerned about the future of their country.

他们非常关心国家的前途。

I am thankful to you for all this help.

我感谢你的一切帮助。

代表们将投票决定这项议案。

5）副词转译为动词

She opened the window to let the fresh air in.

她打开窗户，让新鲜空气进来。

He is up anddown.

他已起床下楼去了。
