学校里来了一条龙
学校来了一条龙，这条龙海喜欢吃蔬菜，快来看看是怎样的一条龙呢？
When Tex and Indi got to school on Monday, they could hear a noise coming from the science center.
周一特克斯与英迪去上学，他们听到科技馆有声音传来。
At morning meeting, Ms. French said, “Lily, please tell us what you brought today.”
早间课上，弗伦希夫人说：“莉莉，请告诉我们你今天带了什么。”
“I brought my pet lizard,” said Lily. “I named him Dragon because he looks like a little dragon.”
“我带上了我的宠物蜥蜴，”莉莉说，“我叫它‘龙’，因为它看起来就像一条小龙。”
“Who wants to take a closer look?” asked Ms. French. Several children raised their hands.
弗伦希夫人问：“谁想上前仔细看下？”几个孩子举起了手。
“OK, Tex, Indi, and Miguel, you may go first. Be sure to wash your hands when you’re done.”
“好。特克斯、英迪还有米格尔，你们先过来看。看完了一定要洗手。”
Lily said, “Dragon likes to eat veggies. You can feed him if you want.”
莉莉说：“‘龙’喜欢吃蔬菜，如果你想你可以喂它。”
Tex dropped some lettuce into the cage.
“Look, he loves it!” he said.
特克斯往笼子里放了些莴苣。
“你看，它喜欢吃！” 他说。
“Aww, he’s the cutest dragon in the world!” said Indi.
“哈，它是世界上最可爱的龙！”英迪说。
That night at dinner, Tex said, “Guess who came to school today.”
当天晚餐的时候，特克斯说：“猜猜今天谁去学校了。”
“Tell us!” said their big sister, Arizona.
他们的大哥亚利桑那说：“告诉我们！”
Tex and Indi grinned at each other, then said at the same time, “A veggie-eating dragon!”
特克斯和英迪相视咧嘴一笑，异口同声说道：“一条吃蔬菜的龙！”
