一、形容词、副词 原形用法
1. “the+形容词”，表示一类人或物
the poor 穷人
the old 老人
the blind 盲人
2. as + 形容词/副词原形+ as “和...一样...”
Tom is as tall as Mike.
Jim works as hard as Mike.
not as + 形容词/副词原形+ as “和… 不一样...”
Tom is not as tall as Mike.
Jim doesn’t work so hard as Mike.
3. as + 形容词 + a + 单数名词+ as
Chineseis as difficult a language as English.
as + many/much + 名词 + as
I have as many books asTom has.
I can carry as much paper as you can.
4. 倍数+ as + 形容词 + as
This room is twice as big as that one.
Tom is three times as old as Mike.
This bridge is four times as long as that one.
二、形容词、副词 比较级 用法
1.主语 动词+形容词/副词比较级 + than +对比成分
Today is warmer than yesterday.
This picture is more beautiful than thatone.
主语 +动词+less+形容词/副词原形 + than +对比成分 表示不及另一方
Math is less difficult than physics.
2.比较级前可用much, a lot, far, a little, 倍数等修饰。
The sun is far larger than themoon.
My pen is a little more expensive than his.
He is three years older than I.
3.表示“越来越···”
“比较级 +and + 比较级”
YourEnglish is getting better and better.
“more and more + 形容词/副词原形”
The city is more and more beautiful.
4.“The+比较级+主语+谓语，the+比较级+主语+谓语”
表示“越...，就越...”
The harder you study, The faster you makeprogress.
The more exercise you do, the healthier you willbecome.
