To Go, or Not to Go, That Was the Question

Wang Yong is a native of Wuhan. On Chinese New Year’s Eve, Wang learned that a nurse at Jinyintan Hospital couldn’t find a taxi to drive her home.
During the fight against thenovel coronavirusin Wuhan, Jinyintan Hospital played an important role. Many taxi drivers didn’t want to risk going there. To go, or not to go, that was the question. Finally, Wang Yong decided to do his bit.
Wang arrived at Jinyintan Hospital at 6 am the next day and picked up the nurse. She didn’t expect that anyone would come. She cried. On that day, Wang drove nearly 30 medical staff members to and from Jinyintan Hospital. But that was only the beginning.
Wang began to look for more volunteers. And over 20 warm-hearted people soon joined in and took turns taking the medical staff on a race against time.
But Wang and his team did not stop there. They kept on solving other problems, big or small, that the medical staff might face at work and in their daily lives. For example, they helped buy food and clothes and look for hairdressers.
Why did Wang try so hard to help the medical staff? His answer was simple, “They are saving lives. Everyone is working hard to help Wuhan. As someone born in Wuhan, I just did what I could.”
