Lovers and madmen have such seething brains ,such crazy fantasies,that often tell more than cool reason ever understands.
The lunatic,the lover,and the poet are all distinguished by imagination.
One sees more devils than vast Hell can hold; that is the madman.
That lover's just as crazed,sees the brightest beauty in the ugliest face.
The poet's eye, in a fine frenzy,rolling, glances from heven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And as imagination bodies forth the forms of things unknown,the poet's pen turns them to shapes,and gives to airy nothing a local habitation and a name.
But all the stories of the night told over,and all their viewpoints so combined together,seem to be more than just imagination,and make up something of great constancy…
Though very strange,yet oddly admirable.
