遇上有人插队不要慌，教你如何用英语正面回怼！

在平时各种排队的时候，我们总会遇上几个不守规矩喜欢插队的人。上周小八在超市结账就遇到一个大叔插队，小八就上前制止了大叔。

遇上插队这种不文明的行为，大家都可以勇敢站出来说不！今天小八就跟大家讲讲，插队的英语表达吧！

队伍

队伍有两个表达：line和queue。line是美式英语，而queue /kjuː/是英式英语。

line和queue作名词时是队伍的意思，表示很长的队伍，可以用long/huge/big来修饰。

There is a huge line at the counter.

柜台前排起了长队。

There was a big queue.

队伍排得很长。

排队

队伍的表达我们知道了，那排队应该怎么说呢？

排队等候，在队中等待

We stood in a queue for half an hour.

我们排了半小时队。

join the line/queue

排队

You'll have to join the queue.

你得排队。

queue up/line up

这里的line和queue都是动词，表示排队。

Please queue up for a ticket. 

请排队买票。

站成一排，排成一队

Please form a line, and get out of this building from the nearest exit quickly and quietly. 

请排好队，快速、安静地从最近的出口离开这里。

A queue had formed outside the shop.

店外面排着队。

插队

学习了排队的表达，我们再来看看该怎么说插队。一般是butt/cut in line和jump the queue，这是固定搭配，不能交换哦！

其中jump the queue是排队、加塞、取得优先权的意思。

例

Please queue up for a ticket. Do not jump the queue.

请排队买票，不要插队。

Could you please not cut in line? We are all wait in line.

请你不要插队好吗？我们都在排队等候。

动词的形式变换一下，就变成了名词插队者，queue-jumper或line-cutter。

如何制止插队

大家要注意哦，提醒别人排队，说不能插队，你这么做是不对的这类的话，是很容易造成矛盾，引起冲突的。

我们可以委婉地提醒别人，队伍在这，请排队！可以说：

There is a line. 这儿在排队呢。

We are all waiting in line. 我们都在排着队呢。

Line starts here. 从这儿排队。

当然如果是真的有急事，想要快点排到，就需要和排在前面的人，客气地说：May l go first？加上你的理由。

只要好好说，相信大部分人都是能接受的。
