Early this morning, a fire broke out in a three-story building on Chayuan Road in Yingde in Guangdong’s Qinqgyuan city, killing 18 and injuring 5.
Following swift investigations, it was confirmed that a man named Liu Chunlu is suspected of committing the arson attack. The suspect sustained burns to his buttocks during the incident. The Qingyuan Public Security Bureau decided to offer a reward of RMB 200,000 for the capture of Liu Chunlu, and within one hour of announcing the reward Liu Chunlu was apprehended.
Local police received reports about a fire occurring in a 3-story building in Yingde City at about 30 minutes after midnight. The police, fire brigade, sanitation and safety surveillance departments rushed to the scene. The deadly fire was put out at 12:55 am. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
After the incident, provincial and municipal leaders rushed to the scene to take charge and deal with the situation overnight, urging those on the scene to do their best to rescue the injured, thoroughly investigate the cause of the incident, and properly handle the aftermath.

GRTRadio previously reported that the much-anticipated second terminal (T2) at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is scheduled to open This Thursday.
Four airlines including Xiamen Airlines, Kenya Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Garuda Indonesian will become the first group of airlines that enter Terminal 2.
Baiyun Airport reminds passengers that if they arrive at the wrong terminal, they can take the subway or shuttle bus between Terminals T1 and T2. The free shuttle buses stop at gate 10 on the third floor of Terminal 1 and gate 42 on the third floor of Terminal 2. The shuttle buses set out every 5-15 minutes and operate around the clock. Free transfers are also available between the 'Airport South' station (T1) and the 'Airport North' station (T2) on the north line of the Guangzhou Metro Line 3.
Hainan offers visa-free entry to tourists from 59 countries

Starting next month, the island province of Hainan will begin offering visa-free entry to tourists from 59 countries in a bid to open up and boost the economy.
Countries included on the list include; Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, South Korea and the United States, along with 51 other countries.
Previously, the province offered 15- and 21-day visa free visits for tourists from 26 countries travelling in groups. Hainan hopes to attract as many as 1.2 million foreign tourists by 2020.
