用times表倍数，一般有3种表达。

...times+the+名词（size, height, weight, length,width）+of……

比如：

Your playground is 900 meters wide, three times the size of ours.

你们的操场是900米宽，是我们大小的三倍。

This street is twice the width of that one.

这条街是那条街的两倍宽。

…times+形容词/副词的比较级+than…

比如：

This hall is five times bigger than our classroom.

这个大厅比我们的教室大五倍。（是我们教室的六倍大）

…times +as+形容词（副词）原级+as…

比如：

The expanded European Union has a population of more than half a billion people, twice as big as the population of the USA.

扩张的欧盟有五亿多人口，是美国人口的两倍。
