本篇是9岁的来自C班（肖泽喜班）的鄢佳彦给大家现场讲了一堂5-7分种的科学课《石鱼》，如何识别石鱼，它的特性及分布地点，它有什么危害，如何缓解疼痛，直接与观众进行了一场英文简短现场互动。

女士们先生们，大家上午好！
Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning.
首先感谢大家的到来。我是来自英语突破C班的鄢佳彦，很开心在这里给大家做这个演讲。
Thank you for coming and thank you for having me here today. I am Daisy from English Break Through Class C, it is my honor to be here and share with you what we have learned.
I今天我要做的演讲主题是：关于一种被称为“澳大利亚的致命动物”的动物。那么，演讲之前，我向大家提一个问题，请问各位：你们知道地球上有哪些种致命动物吗？
Today I want to talk about one deadly animal that isfound in Australia. Before I start, hmmm how many deadly animals do you know on Earth?
BA（等待大家回答后）原来大家知道不少哦；B（没有人回答）我来给大家介绍一下：
Wow, you all know a lot deadly animals.
No? May be I can introduce you some.
A那我还知道的有：鸡心螺、bluering octopus、箭毒蛙
As far as I know, there are many deadly animals like:blue ring octopus, arrow frog and….
AB那么，我今天的演讲要讲的致命动物叫做石鱼。
But, the animal I want to talk about is called stonefish
也许有些人会觉得石鱼这个名字很奇怪，从字面意思上来理解，石鱼就是长得很像石头的鱼，不容易让敌人发现，因此是动物界的伪装高手。经常会有人把它当成石头踩上去，但是因为石鱼背上有13根刺，而且刺上有毒液，能够让被刺的动物出现暂时性瘫痪，所以导致大约每年30起左右石鱼伤人事件。这种毒液很凶猛，不及时救治就会一命呜呼。目前已知石鱼生活的地点主要分布在（那个国家旁边？）Brisbane和Geraldton一带的海域。
Some of you may find the name stone fish very strange.But if you think about it, it actually means a fish that looks like stone.Because of this special outlook, it is hard to be found by its enemy. So stonefish is a great pretender.
Very often, people would step on them, but due to the poisonous 13 spikes on it’s back, any animals that got stung by it would appeartemperate , each year there are about 30 people get wounded by stone fish. Thevenom in it’s spike is lethal, people may die if medical help can’t make it ontime.
So far, people found that stone fish are often seen at the coastal area near Brisbane and Geraldton.
石鱼还有一个较为特殊的昵称：等待者。为什么石鱼有这个昵称呢？原因是石鱼可以在几个小时内一动不动，不做出任何动静和不发出任何声响，一直躲在子底下等待猎物经过。一旦，有猎物出现，石鱼便用超快的速度吃掉它。
Stone fish has another nickname: The Waiter. Why? Because it can stay still for hours under the water, without moving a little or making any noise until a prey passes by. As long as prey appears, stonefish would strike and eat it.
石鱼不仅仅是捕猎者，它也是其它捕猎者的猎物。例如鲨鱼就会吃石鱼，但如果有鲨鱼靠近，石鱼就会把自己的尖刺和毒液预备起来，这像是在警告鲨鱼：假如再敢靠近，你自己被毒刺扎到了后果自负。
Stone fish is not only a hunter, but also a prey of other predators. For example, sharks eat stone fish. If shark comes near it,stone fish will get its toxic spikes ready, as if a warning to the shark: come any closer you will get stung, and you bring this to yourself!
石鱼的刺尖到甚至可以把人类的脚蹼和雨鞋都刺破，如果人踩到了石鱼,脚就会变成紫色，石鱼的毒液会麻痹你的神经,导致你无法控制自己身体的行动，身体只能不得动弹、一直发抖；严重还可能导致发烧甚至心脏病，用热水浸泡那些被刺扎到的部位，可以暂且缓解身体的痛感，但是对于治疗没有任何帮助。
The spikes of the stone are so sharp they can pierce through people’s feet or even rain boots. If one, unfortunately step on stonefish, his foot would quickly turn purple. Its venom would paralyze his neural system, he can’t control his body, and he will be unmobilized and keep shaking. What’s worse is that, the venom could cause fever or heart disease. Soak the stung body parts in the hot water may relief the pain, but it couldn’t cure it.
我看了石鱼的纪录片后给我的收获是，1如果要去澳大利亚，不要随便下海滩要不然会被石鱼的刺扎,。2如果去澳大利亚要会英语要不然被石鱼刺扎到了还不可以求救
What I learned from this documentary wasthat, one, if I ever go visit Australia, going to the beach with full awareness of stone fish, or you may got stung. Second, even if I got stung by a stone fish, I still have the chance to besaved and cured.
