2019年第56届IFLA世界大会（IFLA World Congress）将于2019年9月18—20日在挪威首都奥斯陆举行，此次大会由国际风景园林设计师联合会（IFLA，International Federation of Landscape Architects）主办，由挪威风景园林设计师协会（NLA，Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects ）承办。
本届大会的主题是“Common Ground”。
2019 IFLA 学生设计竞赛由Group HAN Associates、IFLA和挪威风景园林设计师协会赞助，由挪威生命科学大学的风景园林学院（Norwegian School of Landscape Architecture, Norwegian University of Life Sciences）组织安排。竞赛将致力于展示世界范围内风景园林教育的最高水平成就。竞赛的目的是发掘风景园林专业的学生有思想性和创新性的环境设计作品。竞赛邀请风景园林专业的学生个人或团队（或对风景园林设计感兴趣的非本专业在校本科生和研究生）报名参赛。

The theme of this year Landscape Architecture Student Competition is asked to challenge what “Common Ground” means in transformation areas in the dense city.
“Common Ground”，设法解决一个宏观的主题。由于气候变化和人口增长，我们的世界正在经历巨大的变化。这个主题既影响我们的物质环境，也影响我们如何可持续地发展和管理我们的“Common Ground”。
Common Ground is this year’s vision for the IFLA congress. This addresses a vasttheme. The world is experiencing enormous changes due to climate change and populationgrowth. The theme both affects our physical surroundings and how to develop andmanage our common ground sustainably.
景观设计师们的工作涵盖了从小到大的设计尺度上的相同问题，以应对从地方到全球的多样挑战。今年的大会将进一步审视城市转型（urban transformation），绿色交通（green mobility），健康且美丽的景观（healthy and beautiful landscapes ）及公众参与（public participation）。
Landscape architects work across large and small scales to face a variety of global and local challenges. This year’s congress will take a closer look at urban transformation, green mobility, healthy and beautiful landscapes and public participation.

As part of this congress, students are asked to challenge what “Common Ground” means in transformation areas in the dense city. The student competition deals with thistopic, and will work on a small-scale common ground in the transformation area Hovinbyen in central Oslo. IFLA invites students in small groups to interpret the concepts of “common ground” to Hovinbyen, a major former industrial area in central Oslo that is currently undergoing a large re-development.Former industrial areas are here about to be replacedwith a modern, mixed-use, dense urban development.

Grønvold Park is surrounded by a preservedhistoric farmhouse and a small garden suburb for a match factory of the 19thcentury. The new development in the area contains sites for a new primary schooland a huge mixed-use block neighbouring the proposed Park.
这个6000平方米的基地禁止机动车通行。竞赛的主要任务是设计一个强效的功能性概念，并展现如何概念落实为一个美丽且可持续的景观设计。
The Park will have no motorized traffic andcovers a site of 6000 m2. The main task in the competition will be to develop astrong functional concept and show how to materialize this as a beautiful andsustainable landscape design for the site.
