There was this…bigger girl in our 8th grade. Her name was Courtney. Let me just say; kids at private school are harsh.

Courtney was an obese girl who smelt like rotten fish. She was also a total bitch. Everyone lost respect for her in 6th grade when she falsely accused the 8th grade science teacher of raping her!! She yelled at people and smacked us.

That’s when in 8th grade my friend Madison and I started this thing where we would go in an extremely low, hoarse voice and say:

“COUUURTTTTT”

Now, it was extremely fun at the time. It got back at her for making the science teacher almost lose his job. Madison and I spread it, and finally all the bad kids in the grade were doing it. After weeks of just yelling COURTTT in the hallways got boring, we would do another thing. We did Court riots.

At the end of the school day when the whole 8th grade was leaving the building someone would scream Court (usually me or other main rioters). When we would do this, it was a domino effect. Everyone would just scream, “COURT COURT COURT COURT COURT” as loud as they could.

This is a video one of my friends at the time recorded. That was a typical Court riot. We finally got busted by one of the teachers, and we couldn’t do it anymore. So we switched to hey riots. Instead of saying Court we just replaced it with hey.

So why did I do it?

That bitch Courtney falsely accused a poor old man of rape, and was rude to everyone for no reason.

What made me change?

A month before I was expelled from that school I had a conversation with Courtney. I apologized for terrorizing her all those months. She was actually a kind person. She just didn’t like anyone because we all turned on her after she accused the teacher.

It still didn’t make what she did okay. We all still hated her, but I talked to the crew and they all left her alone for the rest of the year.

Bottom line: Don’t bully people. It’s shitty.
