这组动词都可指物体的“摇动”、“摇晃”、“抖动”、“震动”。

 

shake  用于物时，指物体上下来回短促而急速地“摇动”、“摇晃”、“抖动”；

   1）He shook the tree and some apples fell to the ground.

      他摇了摇树，一些苹果掉到了地上。

   2）We felt that the whole house shook intensely when the earthquake happened.

      地震发生的时候，我们觉得整个房子都在激烈摇晃。

   3）He stamped his feet to shake off the snow from his boots.

quiver 和 shiver 指物体发出快速、轻微的抖动，语气最轻。

 

   1）The leaves quivered in the breeze.

      树叶在微风中颤动。

   2）hen they heard other explosions. the earth shook and the glass in the panes

     shivered and came down .

vibrate  专业用词，“振动”、“起伏”。普通英语中用法同 shake。
