这座时尚、现代的海滨别墅Cape Schanck位于维多利亚州莫宁顿半岛的Schanck角，是为一对夫妇及其成年子女提供的家庭度假别墅。事实上，该项目是对现有两层楼房的翻新，由Rod Hannah Design起草，Anderson Homes建造，由墨尔本的Cantilever Interiors完成室内设计。最终展示出了一个极其精致、实用的家庭住宅。
This stylish, modern beach house Cape Schanck, located at Cape Schanck on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, is designed as a family holiday home for a couple and their adult children. In fact, the project is a renovation of an existing two-storey house. The house was drafted by Rod Hannah Design Group and built by Anderson Homes; The interior was designed by Cantilever Interiors in Melbourne, and the result is to create an extremely refined, functional family home.

Expansive views of the surrounding are invited into the home through portals or framed by oversized window openings throughout the home.

Muted tones and natural textures enhance and compliment the home’s surrounding native tea tree views. Designing to create a palette of shifting light throughout the home, Cantilever Interiors worked with subtle tonal shifts across white, cream, grey and taupe to create a calm, responsive environment that allowed the expansive landscape views to take shape as you move through the home.

The use of texture through various paint, tile and floor treatments was intended to give the interior space a sense of time and connection to the landscape.

The bedroom features joinery and a cool grey palette with fluted details. The artwork on the wall creates depth whilst adding soft tones to the bedroom.

The armchairs and outdoor table provide another layer of textural interest to this home with natural tones that blend in with the coastal landscape.
