这两词都可表示“脸红”意思。

 

flush    指因兴奋、激动、羞愧或受到其他刺激（如发热或酒精刺激）而脸红，

        属于生理反应，常与with连用。可用作动词或名词。

 

  1）He was flushed with anger.      

  他气得满面通红。

  2）After running for half an hour, his face flushed from the exercise.     

  跑了半个小时后,因运动他的脸通红。

  3）He was flushed for having quarrelled with his boss.

  他和老板争得面红耳赤

  4）The young couple was flushed with happiness and excitement at the birth

        of their first son.

             这对年轻夫妇第一个孩子诞生时因幸福和激动满脸通红。

blush   指因害羞、惭愧、尴尬、难堪而脸红，强调指心理因素，可用作动词或名

        词。

 

1）She blushed as red as a peony whenever a boy spoke to her.   

 每当男孩跟她讲话，她脸红得像朵牡丹花。

      2）Her face turned blushed when she found she had made a silly mistake.  

 她发现自己犯了一个愚蠢的错误，脸一下红了起来。

      3）She blushed at the mention of her lover’s name.   

           听到别人提到她情人的名字，她的脸上泛起红潮。

 4) “I am indebted to you. I couldn’t have come this far without your help.” 

      “You are making me blush. It was nothing, actually.”
