The company is also looking to scale up the locally-assembled model line-up in the country beyond the one model (ES sedan) that it currently makes at parent Toyota’s plant in Bangalore, India president Naveen Soni told TOI. TOI

“There was an open offer over the last two-three days that Russia was giving it (crude oil) at some sort of a discounted price but we don’t know how it can be of effect because a whole lot of factors will have to be weighed in and we will have to get it from some port to ship it and then whether it can come to India, and whether it is workable,”

NEW DELHI: Amazon is planning to split its stock for the first time in more than two decades in a move that will end an era of four-digit stock prices for the biggest US technology companies.
Amazon intends to boost its outstanding shares by a 20-to-1 ratio, under a plan disclosed late Wednesday, joining other technology giants like Alphabet and Apple who have turned to splits to make their stocks more attractive to retail investors.
