circular mil(cmil)圆密耳：圆面积单位，等于直径为1mil(即0.001in，0.0254mm)的圆面积。
clad wire 金属镀层线：导线由规定金属施加不同的、相对较厚的不同金属包覆层组成。采用加热、压力及冶金学工序进行结合。
coated wire 金属镀覆线：导线由规定金属施加不同的、相对较薄的不同金属包覆层组成。镀覆工艺通常采用电镀、浸渍镀覆。
combination stranded conductor组合（混合）绞合导体：导体由不同直径的导线组成
compact stranded conductor 紧压绞合导体:其标称直径比相同截面的常规非紧压导体减少8%至10%。
compressed stranded conductor 紧压绞合导体：绞向相同或绞距相同的导体，或常规同心导体，其直径约比相同结构或截面的非压缩导体的的计算直径减少3%。
equilay conductor 均匀绞距导体：所有层次的绞合长度均相同，在相邻层次中的绞合方向相反。
