暑假是进入后面一个申请季的关键时刻，孩子们要准备文书，准备申请了。不少家长开始焦虑，问我现在能干嘛？没事干，好焦虑，感觉孩子和中介干活，自己就没事了。我来给你布置点任务，哈哈！
今天先说文书，娃是你生的，陪了十多年，最熟悉的人是你，不是顾问。所以，用你的眼，整理些孩子的琐事，特点等，没准会有惊喜。娃要写的文书题目，我今天放出来，特地翻译成中文，你可能不会写英文，会英文也不用帮他写，但是你能帮着孩子一起想想，回答哪个问题，用哪件事情最好，大家吃饭的时候，散步的时候讨论下，不是很不错吗？当然，千万要注意，尊重孩子，你只是参考意见！
第一个是COMMON APP上的文书：七选一
题目 1
Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
如果你认为自己的某些特征，比如背景、身份、兴趣或天赋，是你不可缺少的一部分，它们会帮助你全面地展现自己，那么请分享属于你的故事。
题目 2
The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
我们从挫折中学到的经验对之后的成功至关重要。回忆你一次你面对挑战、阻碍或者失败的经历。它是如何影响你的，你从中学到了什么?

Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?

描述让你成长或者让你重新认识自己或他人的一个成就、事件、或者感悟。

Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?
描述一个让你沉迷其中，甚至忘记时间的话题、想法、理念。它哪里吸引你? 当你试图去了解更多的时候，你会求助于什么样的帮助？
题目 7
Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.
题目自拟，可以是你之前写好的文章或者任何你自创的选题。
上面的题目，只要选一个回答就可以了，当然亲妈可以每个问题都试试，孩子的事情你最清楚，和孩子，以及顾问商量下，是否能够用生活中的哪些事例来解读这些问题，不要指望个个完美，被打回票也没事，因为毕竟只要一篇。
第二个是“新冠”文书
今年由于疫情，5月12日，COMMAPP官网又发布了一个“新冠”文书，属于选答题，题目如下：
Community disruptions such as COVID-19 and natural disasters can have deep and long-lasting impacts. If you need it, this space is yours to describe those impacts. Colleges care about the effects on your health and well-being, safety, family circumstances, future plans, and education, including access to reliable technology and quiet study spaces.
新冠肺炎和自然灾害等扰乱社区的事件可能产生深远的影响。如果你有需要，你可以利用这个空间来描述这些影响。大学关注的是（疫情）对你的健康和福祉、安全、家庭环境、未来计划与教育的影响，包括（是否）获得可靠技术和安静学习空间。

这个问题可能前无古人，后无来者，是否回答，怎么回答，全靠发挥了。爹妈帮忙想想吧！
第三个是UC的文书，八选四
可以尝试每个问题写一个或两个可能的回答，和孩子交流下，毕竟有一半问题要回答呢！这个时候还没下笔，头脑风暴么，说话不累，妈妈一定可以的，就算不采纳，也不要气馁，至少你帮孩子找出了不合适的，文书就是这么个过程，最后选择出最佳答案！

Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time.
描述你的一次领导力活动经历，可以体现你对他人的积极影响，帮助解决了争端或者是随着时间的推移，对团队的努力做出了贡献。

Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.
每个人都有具有创造力的一面，它能通过很多方面表现出来：解决问题，原创的创新思维，和在艺术上的创作等。描述你会如何表达你的创造性。

What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?
你最突出的才能或技能是什么？一直以来，你是如何培养并展示这一才能或技能的？

Describe how you have taken advantage of a significant educational opportunity or worked to overcome an educational barrier you have faced.
描述你曾如何利用某次重大教育机遇或如何努力克服教育障碍的经历。

Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement?
