去年，我统计过各个学校转正的情况，今年按照惯例应该在这个时间段也要统计系下了。去年的信息，大家想了解，可以看下面两篇文章。
以及最后的统计：
可惜，今年WL转正特别少，在留学群里，在机构的信息里面，基本都听不到太多的消息。但是，其实今年拿到WL的孩子不少，今年真的难。我的判断是，由于去年都是在线上课，有一定比例的学生选择GAP，今年基本所有高校都通知可以线下了，所以，上届GAP的要回来了，这届选择GAP的也不多了。这样一来，基本挤死了WL转正的通道。
我们先来看看2020年WL大盘子的一些基本数据：
2020年一共有43,867人转正成功，相比2019年的22,223，增加了97%。（这也就是去年你一直听到转正成功消息的原因）
基本有29%接受WL的孩子转正成功了，而在2019年，这个数值只有18%。（我预估今年这个数值低于18%）
在2020年，
-有3%的学校1个人都没转正成功。（2019年为8%）
-17%的学校转正成功率低于5%。（2019年为29%）
-33%的学校转正成功率低于10% （2019年为48%）
2021年的数据我觉得应该参考2019年。我查了一些学校，给到这些焦急等待的孩子和家长一点点信息。
1. 布朗
约1000-1250人在WL上，比往年WL的人数还多，去年900-1000人有194人转正。
预计最后的转正截止点为6月底。
In a normal year, between 900 and 1,000students accept the University’s offer to be placed on its waitlist, Powellsaid. This year, the University made slightly more waitlist offers than usual,with the expectation that roughly 1,000 to 1,250 students will likely choose toremain on the list. “The hope is (to notify waitlisted students)by the end of June,” he noted, adding that the University complies with relatively recentchanges to deadline policy from the National Association for College AdmissionCounseling. “We wantstudents to have certainty as early as they can. We don’t want students waitinginto the end of August while they’re packing to go to another school.”
2. 卡梅
卡梅比较特别分两类WL，有优先WL，有普通WL。明确说明优先WL在5.6开始考虑，普通WL只在6.1后开始考虑。
May 6
Students that elected to remain on the PriorityWaiting List will be notified of their admission decision via the Where Am I in the Process? portal no earlier than May 6. Any students offeredadmission from the Priority Waiting List will be required to post anon-refundable $800 enrollment deposit within 72 hours.
June 1
Students that elected to remain on the RegularWaiting List will be notified of their admission decision via the Where Am I in the Process? portal no earlier than June 1. Wewon't communicate with students on the Regular Waiting List until we'vecommunicated with all students that elected to remain on the Priority WaitingList.
3. 达特茅斯
按照达特茅斯官方的说法，他们转正结束的日期大概率是6月底。
I'mon the wait list; how long until I hear something?
Wewill notify wait list candidates of their final admission decision in May orJune, if possible. It is important to note, however, that wait list activitymay extend into the summer. Wait list candidates should submit the Wait List Reply Form as soon as possible. If anopening occurs, only students who have responded via this form will beconsidered for admission. We strongly encourage wait list candidates to committo another college or university, as it is impossible to predict whether anyfurther openings will become available.
4. 耶鲁
耶鲁一共录取了1332人，但是放出了1030份WL，预估只会有一点点转正了。
Yale also offered a spot on the waiting list to 1,030 applicantsthis year, according to Mark Dunn, director of outreach and communications atthe Office of Undergraduate Admissions. 41,599 applicants were deniedadmission, and 2,107 applications were either incomplete or withdrawn.
5. UCLA，UCB等UC系统
加州系明确说明，6月1日是转正的截止日期。
Fall-termfreshman applicants willreceive waitlist offers by the end of March, with an opt-in deadline of April15. You'll be notified of your final status by June 1.
Youcan accept waitlist offers from multiple campuses, but you can only accept one offer of admission.
今年加州转正的信息非常少，下图是如意妈在网上找到的UCLA去年和前年的转正具体时间节点，感觉今年转正，无论国内外完全没有这种态势。到今天才听到个把转正。
6.范德堡
范德堡明确说明7月1日是正常的转正截止日。到目前为止，听说过个别转正信息，但是具体数目不详。按照往年，怎么也有200人左右啊。
7.弗及尼亚
学校明确表示，今年WL转正和去年比差很多。
It looks like the waiting list pendulum hasswung (see over a decade of waiting list offers here), as it tends to do, and we are not seeing much movement onthe list this year. A few offers have been made, but I don't think we'll see atotal anywhere near what we saw last year.
8.圣母
圣母说一般会有50-120人转正，转正日期是5.3和5.15。
This year we have aligned our offers of admissionswith the expectation that about 50 to 150 students will ultimately be admittedfrom the waiting list. With the exception of last year, we have averagedbetween 50 and 120 offers of admission to students who opted to remain on thewaiting list. There have been a few years where we experienced a surge inenrollments and no positions were available.
Typically, we begin notifying students who will beadmitted from the waiting list between May 3 and May 15.
9.北卡
北卡明确表示：6月30日是截止日。
We may make several rounds ofoffers, but we promise to notify students of their final decision no later thanJune 30.
10.斯坦福
斯坦福明确表示，7月1日是截止日。去年的数据是200多转正，今年绝对不可能重现了。
We will re-evaluate waitlist candidates if our enrolled studentnumber is lower than initially predicted. We will provide all candidatesholding a space on the waitlist with a final admission decision by July 1.
11.纽大
纽大有过转正了，纽大明确表示，最晚的截止日期是8月1日，不过最近也有纽大官方发出来的邮件说，已经收满了，基本没指望了。
When will I know if I am admitted off of the waitlist?
Again, we will not have any indicationwhatsoever if we have space available in our first-year or transfer class untilafter the admitted student response deadline. We first need to determine ifthose initially offered admission will accept their offers. We will re-evaluateour capacity to admit any additional students from the waitlist after we aresure that all deposits have been received. We will communicate with you aboutyour status on the waitlist no later than August 1.
虽然这篇文章的观点是比较悲观的，不过我觉得还是要以积极的心态去等待，万一真的转正了呢？乐观看待现状，其实即便不转正，后续申转学，再不济读研，读博的时候翻盘，都是路。在美国，各种可能，各种路，怎么都能走出来！
