3“A demon attacked us,” said the gibbon.“We tried to fight him, but he was too powerful. He stole most of our things and kidnapped many of us.”attack,fight,steal,kidnap

4Wukong was furious. “Who is he? Where does he live?”furious

5“He is called the Demon of Chaos,” said the gibbon. “He came from the north.”come from

8“I learned many things from a sage,” Wukong replied. “I am now as powerful as a god! I’m not afraid of any demon. I’ll be back soon.”reply, be afraid of

9He leaped into the air and flew north. His subjects stared in amazement.leap into , stare ,amazement

10“Our king can fly!” said the gibbon.

11Wukong soon spotted a gloomy mountain. Dark clouds hung over it.spot , gloomy ,hang

12“That looks like a demon’s home,” he thought.

13Wukong landed on the mountain and found a cave. Two guards stood at the entrance, practicing sword fighting.entrance,practice
悟空上山发现了一个山洞。两个卫兵站在门口练剑。
14“I’m king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain!” yelled Wukong. “The Demon of Chaos attacked my subjects! I want revenge!”yell ,revenge
“我是花果山之王！悟空喊道。“混世魔王袭击了我的臣民！我要复仇！”
15“Ahh!” the guards shrieked, and ran into the cave.shriek
“啊！卫兵尖叫着跑进洞里。
16The Demon of Chaos was sitting at a table, eating a meal.
混世魔王坐在一张桌子旁，吃着一顿饭。
17“Disaster!” one guard cried.disaster
“灾难！”（大事不好）一个卫兵喊道。
18“What sort of disaster?” asked the demon.
“什么样的灾难？”魔鬼问。
19“There’s a monkey outside,” said the other guard. “He said he’s king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain. You attacked his subjects. Now he wants revenge!”
“外面有一只猴子，”另一个警卫说。“他说他是花果山之王。你攻击了他的臣民。现在他想要报复！”
20“The monkeys and apes have spoken of a king,” said the demon. “He left to find a sage. I guess he returned.”
“猴子和猿猴都说过一个大王，”恶魔说。“他离开是为了寻找圣人。我想他回来了。”
21The demon stood up. “Does the monkey have any weapons?”
恶魔站了起来。“猴子有武器吗？”
22“No,” said one guard.

23“Then get me my armor and my sword,” said the demon.armor ,sword

24A moment later the Demon of Chaos walked outside.
过了一会儿，混世魔王走了出来。
25He looked at Wukong and laughed. “You’re just a little monkey!” he said.
他看着悟空笑了。“你只是个小猴子！”他说。
26Wukong looked up at the huge demon. “I am small,” he said, “but I am more powerful than you can imagine.”imagine
悟空抬头看了看那个巨大的恶魔。“我很小，”他说，“但我比你想象的更强大。”
27“I’m not afraid of you!” said the demon.He swung his sword.swing
“我不怕你！”恶魔说。他挥舞着剑。
28Wukong jumped out of the way and then flew at the demon.
悟空跳了出去，然后向恶魔飞去。
29Pow! Wukong hit the demon on the nose.
战俘！（破！）悟空打了恶魔的鼻子。
30“Argh!” cried the demon.
“啊！”恶魔喊道。
31Wukong pulled out a handful of his own hair and blew on it.
悟空拔出一把自己的头发，吹在上面。
32Poof! Each strand of hair turned into a fake monkey—exactly like Wukong.fake ,exactly
噗！每一缕头发都变成了一只和悟空一模一样的假猴子。
33All at once the fake monkeys attacked the demon, punching and kicking him. punch,kick
所有的假猴子立刻攻击恶魔，拳打脚踢。
34“What . . . What’s going on?” cried the demon, trying to fight all the fake monkeys.
“什么。。。怎么了？”恶魔喊道，想和所有的假猴子搏斗。
35“It’s a magic spell,” said Wukong. “It’s called Body Beyond the Body.”
悟空说：“这是个魔咒。“这叫做身体之外的身体（法术 ：身外身，分身术）。”
36The Demon of Chaos was soon destroyed.destroy
混世魔王很快就被消灭了。
37Wukong chased away the guards and then went into the cave.chase
悟空赶走了守卫，然后进了山洞。
38He found all the monkeys and apes that the demon had kidnapped.
他找到了恶魔绑架的所有猴子和猿。
39When they saw him, they cheered.cheer

40“Your Majesty!” cried the monkeys and apes. “You came back!”

41Wukong smiled. “I will take you home!”

42The next morning Wukong woke up early.

43“Other demons might attack us,” he thought. “We must be ready to protect ourselves.”

44Wukong spent the day teaching his subjects how to fight. They practiced with swords and spears.spend, practice ,sword ,spear

45Before long, the monkeys and apes were a fierce army.fierce
不久，猴子和猿成了一支凶猛的军队。
46“No demon will dare bother us now,” said the gibbon.dare,bother

47“No,” said Wukong. “There’s just one problem though.”
“不，”悟空说。“不过，只有一个问题。”
48“What’s that?” asked the gibbon.
“那是什么？“长臂猿问。
49“I can’t use any of the weapons we have!”said Wukong.weapon
