这类事情第一句的要点是开门见山。不要再寒暄、兜兜转转。直接说很抱歉通知你，我们无法如期出货。

The delivery date will be delayed about 15 days due to the rough weather last end of month. We are now trying every possible effort to expedite & finish it around 22nd April.

这一句，有三点注意。第一，货期延误15 天，和工厂说的 10 天有出入，那是因为计划永远赶不上变化，不能一板一眼的传递工厂的原话。应该在工厂给的时间上再多预算几天，同时要盯紧生产，让他们尽力在 10 天内提前完成。

第二，先简单提及下是什么原因导致延误，此时客户不关心原因，他关心的是那他的货要拖多少天才能完成。

所以紧接着第三要表达尽管延误，我们在全力加速货期，预计出货时间是4月22日。因为有些客户看到延迟已经气急攻心，说不定还会反问你到底是什么时候，给个具体时间，让他心里有数。
