后记：今天看报纸看到教育部准备在2009年在全国的高中实行新的课程改革，其中英语最大的一个改革就是词汇量的变化，由目前的3000个单词增加到3500个，这使得中学许多老师和学生备感压力，但我们回头看看我们的近邻日本和俄罗斯，他们国家的大学毕业的学生要求掌握的词汇是15000个，我说的没错，可我国的大学英语八级要求掌握的词汇也不过12000多，在中学增加学生的词汇量志在必行，我们国家的大学生毕业了现在有几个能读懂外国的主流杂志和报纸，我个人认为扩大自身的词汇单靠孤立的背单词是远远不够的，只有通过大量的有难度的阅读才能达到，记词汇要知道它的用法才能算掌握了。如impute to和ascribe to都有归因于的意思，但前者用于贬义，而后者用于褒义，moot v.提议，提出方案，它只能用于被动语态。
