英语语法：可数名词

前几期介绍了英语语法：词类转换（前缀派生词）、词类转换（后缀派生词前二种）、词类转换（后缀派生词二）、关于国家名称的派生词、兼类词中记类变化而词形不变、兼类词中词形相似词类易混淆的情形、词类转换（合成词）、名词复数的规则变化、名词复数的不规则变化。这一期学习英语语法：可数名词。

名词有可数名词和不可数名词。

可数名词表示具体个别存在的人或者事物，如girl女孩，apple苹果，phone手机。

不可数名词表示不能个别存的事物或者物质，如water水，air空气，ice冰，grass草。

抽象名词中有一些是可数名词，如exam考试,idea主意，holiday假期，有一些是不可数名词，如advice意见，fun乐趣，music音乐。

可数名词有单复数形式，其中单数形式可以用不定冠词a(an)或者定冠词the修饰。

不可数名词，通常没有复数形式，不用定冠词、不定冠词修饰。

1.可数名词的表示形式

“基数词+可数名词”表示可数名词的量。

ten cups十只杯子

twenty postcards二十张明星片

一些表示“双、对、群、队……”等意义的名词，可以修饰可数名词，表示定量。

a box of matches一盒火柴

a pair of glasses一幅眼镜

a basket of oranges一篮橙子

a group of students一群学生

a team of players一队选手

可数名词，可以用(a) few，many, a large/small number of, some等修饰，表示不确定的数量。

A large number of birds stayed by the lake for the winter.

大量的鸟停在湖边过冬。

A small number of firms have ceased trading.

一小部分公司已经停止贸易。

Quite a few campsites have been set up for middle school students.

为中学生建起了好几个野外营地。

We planted many trees along the road.

我们沿路植了很多树。

Few restaurants are as dirty as this one.

几乎很少餐馆像这家那么脏。
