阴柔型男人更受女性欢迎

　　Historically women chose manly men because features such as asquare jaw, low brow and thin lips were linked to superior genes whichwould produce stronger and healthier offspring。

　　传统上女人喜欢选择男子气概重的男人作为配偶，因为像方下巴、低眉毛、薄嘴唇这样的面部特征是与优良基因有关的，这样能保证后代更强壮更健康。

　　But the choice came at a cost – as the more masculine the man, the less likely he was to help out nurturing his child。

　　Now researchers believe that improvements in health care in wealthywestern countries mean women do not have to worry about so much aboutthe quality of their offspring – and so are picking more femininelooking men。

　　In Sweden, which had the best health care, most women (68 per cent) preferred feminine looking men。

　　In contrast in Brazil, which had the worst health care, the majority of women (55 per cent) preferred masculine men。

　　"That could be why feminine looking movie stars like Johnny Deppand Orlando Bloom are popular now compared with the likes of Clark Gableand Sean Connery in the past."
