PEP 6A Unit 4 I have a pen pal A let’s learn教学设计

教材分析

本单元主题是“爱好”。本部分学习的单词和词组是:dancing,reading stories,singing,playing football,doing kung fu。教材通过Peter和张鹏进行网上聊天的情景呈现了单词的词形和意义。本部分的教学目标是:学生能够听、说、读、写上述单词和词组;并能结合本部分核心句型What are your hobbies?谈论兴趣爱好。在这一课时教学中,教师需帮助学生梳理动词ing形式的变化规则。

学情分析

学生在这之前已经学习过dance、sing、read、play、do以及很多的动词短语,这节课的词汇认读对学生来说难度不大。教师通过活动设计,进行大量的词汇复现能帮助学生进行丰富的语言交流。

教学目标

1.语言知识与技能

(1)能够听、说、读、写有关爱好的单词和词组:dancing, singing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu。
(2)能够正确使用句型:What are your hobbies?/What is your hobby?I like...He/She likes...谈论自己或他人的兴趣爱好。

2.学习策略目标

学生能自主发现动词ing的变化规则。

3.情感态度价值观目标

培育学生通过了解对方兴趣爱好结交朋友的意识。

教学重点

能够用所学句型以及单词和词组谈论自己或他人的兴趣爱好。

教学难点

动词ing的变化规则。肯定句中动词第三人称单数形式的词尾变化。

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

Miss White:Children, we have some clubs.
(1)Say the name of the each club
music club  sports club  cooking club  reading club
(2)Look and say
Miss White: This is our _______ club,we can......
sing English and Chinese songs/dance/play the pipa/play the erhu/play the piano
Miss White:This is our_____ club,we can......
make mooncakes/ make salad/ make mooncakes/cook fish/noodles......(cook delicious food)

【设计意图】通过大量单词复现,激活学生已知,为接下来描述自己的爱好做准备。

Step 2 Presentation

John:I like doing kung fu, so I want to join the sports club.
Miss White: Yes, your hobby is doing kung fu.Children,which club do you want to join? What are your hobbies?
(教学单词hobby/hobbies)
Miss White: What is your ______,Mike?  (Choose: hobby/hobbies)
Mike:I like ______________.(dancing) 
Miss White: What are your ______,Sarah?  (Choose: hobby/hobbies)
Mike:I like ______________.(reading stories) (板书story-stories)
Miss White: What _____your hobbies, Yifan?  (Choose: is/are)
Mike:I like ______________.(playing football)

Mike:I like ______________.(singing) 

【设计意图】通过choose活动,使学生关注What is your hobby?和What are your hobbies?中单复数的正确使用。同时呈现新授单词,并让学生掌握like后名词ing形式的运用。

Step 3 Practice

【设计意图】使学生掌握肯定句中动词第三人称单数形式的词尾变化。

(4)Read and fill in the blanks
Zhang Peng is talking to his new pen pal -Peter

【设计意图】呈现课文对话,引出also与too句型。

(5)Let’s read
I like reading stories, I like singing and doing kung fu,too.

【设计意图】比较also和too的不同用法。

(6)Pair work

What are your hobbies?

(用2-3句话写一写自己的爱好)

【设计意图】让学生依据自己能力,选择不同句型说一说自己的爱好。检测学生是否能运用核心句型自主表达。
