在美国夏令营，中文领队Emily很快失宠了，孩子们都跟着美国辅导员们有说有笑。
为什么变化这么大？
因为他们在用英语，而不是在学。
英语徒步课为此而来！
What's EN Hiking?
英语徒步做什么？
首先，我们不教英语，也不打算这么做。
这儿没有词表，你也不用在微信群里打卡报到。
我们只是创造一个英语环境，
每周跟外教们浸泡在一起享受户外，
让孩子切身体会到，英语是他们生活中不得不掌握的一种沟通工具，
就像在国外那样。
课程计划
Mountain Orienteering
龙泉峪野山寻路记
Date : 11.11/12
Distance : 7Km
Altitude gain : 240m
Today our mission is to use map and compass to follow the way-points that will guide us to our destination. We will go through a traditional village, climb 140 meters on the side of a hill until we find the historic city gate.
今天的任务是使用指南针和地图找到终点，我们会经过村庄，从村后防火道上山，根据地图前往各个坐标点，最终你将会抵达终点“瓮城”。
The way down the mountain will offer us a beautiful experience, on both sides the trail is surrounded by wild flowers so rich that, at times, it’s hard to see the path that we are following. We will be able to reflect on this experience on the half-way point and also observe spiders feeding on small insects and lots of local fruit growing on the trees.
下山时，道路两旁的植被很茂盛，几乎看不见明显的道路，中途休息时我们可以分享途中发现，各式的野花、正在进食的蜘蛛以及尝起来甜甜的果子...
Xiangtun canyon 香屯峡谷

Distance : 6Km
Altitude gain : 120m
Before we enter the gorge we will pass the beautiful village of Xiangtun, once on the gorge we will go pass rivulets, fallen tree trunks and we will have to climb over a hill and down the other side. Our destination is a part of the Ming Great wall also known as the water Great Wall.
进入峡谷前我们会路过一个村庄，徒步在峡谷中，我们会经过溪流，钻过倒塌的树干还要翻越土坡，听说峡谷深处还有一段野长城。
Your challenge today? Take up the role of a warrior on an English drama play on the Great Wall.
顺着峡谷一旁的小路找到长城、站在长城上，秋色一览无余，这么美的景色里，我们挑战的是演一出英文情景剧。
Adventure Park 禾子涧冒险乐园
Date : 11.25/26
Distance : 6km
Altitude gain : 160m
We will start the day trekking to an old village sitting amongst the Yangqing mountains, from there we will follow a small path weaving through chestnut and walnut grooves until we arrive at the Ming section of the Great Wall. This path sometimes climbs so steeply that we will have to use our hands and dig our feet in to succeed.
Once on the Wall proper, we will follow it until our destination, the fourth beacon tower, all the while learning about the rich story that it has.
我们来到一座古老的村庄，从村后的小路登上长城，刚开始时坡度较大，需要我们手脚并用，可以说真正的“爬”长城，之后将穿越4座烽火台。板栗、马陆、长城故事都是我们的话题。
Near the fourth beacon tower we will start our descent using a seldom traveled road, very likely we will be the only travelers there. The trail is not well maintained and we will have to be extra careful on the way down, using any trick on the book to make sure we keep our balance. This way will take us straight down to the gorge where we will stop for a well-deserved lunch.
我们从城墙边下降，这是一条几乎没人走的道路，下降过程中需要多加小心，用各种动作来保持平衡，我们会直接下降到峡谷之中，并在那里午餐。
Later in afternoon we go to explore the caynon nearly, building bridges to pass accross the creeks, climing over huge rocks brings so much fun, just like a most enjoyble adventure park!
下午我们将探索附近的峡谷，一路上翻越巨石，搭桥跨越溪流，这里就是一个最刺激好玩的天然游乐场！
Jingxi Ancient Road 京西古道

Distance : 6Km
Altitude gain : 120m
Jingxi Ancient Road, is located in the hills on the western side of Beijing. Beginning in the Yuan Dynasty, people here have worn paths to transport coal from the nearby mines to as far away as Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.
京西古道，位于北京西侧的群山之中。从元朝开始，这里的人们就在附近的煤矿里采煤，然后运煤到山西、内蒙古等地方。
The old Jingxi road doesn’t just connect Beijing to the rest of the world, it is also a testimony to the era’s advanced economic and cultural development.
京西古道不仅是一条连接北京和世界的道路，也是当时先进经济和文化发展的有力证明。
Jingling Valley 精灵谷
Date : 12.09/10
Distance : 6km
Altitude gain : 200m
Our trek in the Jingling valley, a scenic area located in Miyun, will follow a trail, partly formed by steps carved into a steep rock face, pass chestnut trees, into a deep valley, then along it until we reach an abandoned village.
精灵谷是一个位于密云的风景区，顺着山径，穿过板栗树进入到更深的峡谷，一部分的路是岩壁上开凿出来的，这条路把我们导向一个已经废弃的村庄。
On our way back, following along small creeks, we may get a chance to catch a glimpse of some sheep or maybe a villager or two on their way back from the “Holy Spring” where they get their drinking water. Miyun is a well-known high quality drinking water resource for Beijing.
回程沿着溪流而下，不断的横渡溪流，除了享受探险的乐趣，我们可能还会遇见成群的绵羊还有在圣泉取水的当地村民，密云可是首都重要的饮用水源保护区。
Canyon Adventure 云蒙峡谷
Date : 12.16/17
Distance : 7Km
Altitude gain : 24m
We will hike up the gorge, a flat and easy walk between high cliffs following a straightforward trail next to a shallow creek, occasionally there will be deeper pools on either side of the path.
我们在两旁高耸的悬崖之中轻松的徒步。峡谷路线是一条简单、笔直的徒步小径，紧挨着一条浅溪，在小径两旁还有着更深的池塘。
The sandy beaches and pools in Yunmeng gorge make for a perfect place to hike and picnic, especially when you need to escape from the city. The trail that we will be using does not loop around back to the start, which will make us walk back to the start the same way we walk in.
云蒙峡的沙滩和水池是徒步旅行和野餐的理想场所，尤其是当你需要逃离城市的时候。这是一条折返线路，我们需要原路返回。

A:我们会替换成适宜的室内课程，例如探洞等等，因为英语环境需要长期浸泡才能看到效果。
