一课一题一语法:新概念英语第2册第26课

下面我们继续本周《新概念英语2》第27课的重点句型或语法的分享。先来读一读课文:

一、课文原文

Lesson 27 A wet night

Late in the afternoon, the boys put up their tent in the middle of a field. As soon as this was done, they cooked a meal over an open fire. They were all hungry and the food smelt good. After a wonderful meal, they told stories and sang songs by the camp fire. But some time later it began to rain. The boys felt tired so they put out the fire and crept into their tent. Their sleeping bags were warm and comfortable, so they all slept soundly. In the middle of the night, two boys woke up and began shouting. The tent was full of water! They all leapt out of their sleeping bags and hurried outside. It was raining heavily and they found that a stream had formed in the field. The stream wound its way across the field and then flowed right under their tent!

二、重点句型或语法

在《新概念英语》第一册第67-76课学习了一般过去时,第二册第3课也对一般过去时表示过去发生的事情,进行了学习。本课侧重一般过去式的不规则动词。

下面就一般过去时的基本用法,基本句型结构,动词的过去式,标志性时间状语等进行梳理。

1. 基本用法

1) 表示过去发生的动作或状态

如:I was tired last night.

2) 表示过去经常性或习惯性的动作或状态

如:Anna went to the cinema three times last week.
3) 表示过去主语所具备的性格或能力等
如:When I was a child, I was afraid of dogs.

2. 基本句型结构

1)肯定句

由主语加上动词的过去式构成。如:

I went to my grandmother’s house yesterday.

The weather was good last week.

2)否定句

在to be, there be句型中,直接在be动词后加not. 如:

Mark wasn’t at work last week.

There wasn't a good film on TV last night.

在to do句型中,在动词前加did not (didn’t),动词变为原形。如:

I played tennis yesterday, but I didn’t win.

3)一般疑问句

在to be, there be句型中,直接将be动词提前即可;to do句型用did开头,动词变回原形,原句不变,句尾改问号。答句用Yes或No。如:

- Were you late?  - No, I wasn’t.

- Did your parents have a good holiday?  - Yes, they did.

4)特殊疑问句

一般过去时的特殊疑问句由特殊疑问词加一般疑问句构成,如:

What did you do last night?

How did the accident happen?

Where did your parents go for their holiday?

3. 动词过去式的变化规则

1)直接加ed,如:worked, played

2)以不发音的e结尾的加d,如:lived,  tasted

3)以“辅音+y”结尾的,去y改i加ed,如:studied, fried

4)  以重读闭音节结尾的双写最后一个辅音字母加ed,如:stopped, spotted

5) 不规则变化,如课文中出现的:put-put,  tell-told, sing-sang, begin-began, feel-felt等

4. 标志性时间状语

yesterday相关,如:yesterday/ the day before yesterday

in+ 时间,如:in 1997 / in the summer of 2017

this+ 时间,如:this morning/afternoon/evening

last+ 时间,如:last night/ time/ week/month/ year

一段时间+ ago,如:two hours ago/ three weeks ago

the other+ 时间,如:the other day不久前的一天

其他,如:then 那时/at that time 那时 / just now刚才

一般现在时的学习难点主要在于:一般过去时各种句型的变换中,我们要用到助动词did, did(not),在助动词后面的动词要用原形;另外,动词过去式有许多不规则的变化,需要同学们在学习中边学边记,注意积累。
