这部影片由李安于1993年拍摄，是一部以同性恋作为主题的影片。如果说之前对同性恋者有偏见，看完后发觉可以理解他们。

This film directed by Ang Lee in 1993, which represented about the homosexual. If said I had bias to homoerotism before, after watching I could comprehend that.

 

影片从三个人物角色展开，其一是男主角高伟同，喜欢运动、锻炼，做一些房租购买与出租的投资。与男朋友Simon同住一起五年，拥抱、亲吻都是很平常的事，与普通恋人无异，会因为被放鸽子、看到伴侣与其他男性出去玩等都会吃醋。

The film started with three personae, one actor Gao Weitong, who enjoyed sports, exercise, and made some investment for the purchasing and renting of properties. With boyfriend Simon cohabited for five years, as embrace and kiss are commonly and accord with general lovers. Gao wou ldbe jealous if Simon hangs out with other males.

 

他不敢给父母说，因为在那个年代，如何接受这样的一个事实，就像现在还有更大部分人不认可，虽说部分国家已同意同同性恋结婚，可是前段时间的爆炸案，说明还是不被认可的，还需要漫长的时间。

He was afraid to tell the truth to his parents, on account of in that epoch how to let them approve the homosexuality, nowadays there are still large portion of people who can’t accept that. Even though a part of nations have consented to homosexual marriage, the homosexuality isn’t accepted with the man-made explosion took placed in America few days before and it still has a long way to go.

可想当时李安拍这部影片，需要多大的勇气。男主角一直很压抑自己，在美国呆了十年，都没有回去吧？害怕面对，害怕不被认可，害怕妥协。就如与他妈坦白所说的"害怕跟人不一样，而选择一样"。

One can image how much courage did Lee have to make this film at that time. The Actor constrained himself all long, and never went home when resided in America during the first ten years. He was in fear of confrontation, not being recognized and compromise. Just as he was honest to tell his mother that "Be afraid of different with others and instead of making the same chioce".

 

其二是女主角顾葳葳，喜爱并坚持自己所从事的绘画事业，不过在美国，想要成功取得绿卡，还是不容易的。才有后来她为了绿卡，而同意与高伟同结婚。把自己陷入两难境地，却也因此得到了老人婆家人般的关爱。塞翁失马，焉知非福？

Second, Actress Gu Weiwei, who did enjoy and insist work on drawing nothing. But in America, it is not that easy to succeed to obtain a green card as it sounds. Later, she agreed to get married with Gao Weitong in order to get a green card while found herself in a dilemma. As a result of that, she got more attention from the husband's family. Misfortune may be an actually blessing?

其三是高伟同父母，贯穿整条主线，爸爸是军人，有军人的威严与面子，因为他们的到来，事情几经波折，即让我们感受了父母满满的爱，也感受了父母知道真相后的无可奈何。满满的悲伤，搭乘回香港的飞机，经过安检口，爸爸慢慢的把双手举起来。

Third, Gao Weitong's parents, the principal line, father was a soldier who has stateliness and face. With their visiting, we could feel full love from parents and get their helplessness after learning the truth after several twists. Overflow of sadness, they went back home Hong Kong, the father raised his hands slowly when went through the security checkout flight.
