It’s a very outstanding movie for a lot of plots of subtle entanglement and emotions. The director Luc Besson said, “This is a story between two kids, a boy and a girl, both of whom are 12 years old. They live in pain, and they love each other.”

He has a tortured soul and is never truly happy or at peace with himself. He lives quietly from kill to kill. He is a simplistic, childlike man. The one thing he seems to fear is change. But his life does change because of M’s coming. They fall in love and Leon died for saving M.

Mathilda，a 12-year-old mature girl, is reluctantly taken in by her neighbor Leon who is a professional assassin. She lives with her father, step-mother, half-sister and half-brother. As unhappy as Leon, she lives in awe of the dark stranger, being unaware of his true profession. Beaten by her parents and sister, she has dropped out of school and instead spends the day watching cartoons and trying to escape from the real world.
她很小，只有12岁，可是，急不可耐地成熟，因为，童年这么苦。她的生父与继母倒在血泊中，还有与她有一半血缘的姐姐。她哭了，但不是因为他们，他们习而惯之地冷遇她。眼泪，也许是为了弟弟，一点点的温情在冷酷的童年里，是唯一的稻草，这稻草标志着职业杀手的方向，否则如何自处，她只有12岁，一个问题女孩通向职业杀手如此顺理成章。这十二岁的女孩，被“亲人”呵斥着忽略的问题少女，在楼梯上悄悄的吸烟，安静的掩饰那些青紫的伤痕,在楼梯拐角静静的流泪。

It is destined that M met L. M who has the maturity that doesn’t belongs to her age. They find their similarities and attract each other. Finally, they fall in love and become an indispensable part of each other.
正如影片中玛蒂尔达对里昂说的话，成熟而坚定：
Mathilda: I hope you're not lying. Leon. I really hope that inside your deeper heart there's no love in you. Because if there is...just a little bit of love in there for me...I think that you'll regret you never said anything in a few minutes. I love you, Leon!

Plots in this film:节选剧情
At the beginning of the film, Leon was employed to kill a fat man. He killed all the protectors for this fat man before anyone could recognize him. He is exactly a good killer.
When Mathilda's family was murdered by a crazy policeman named Stan, her only chance for survival was to hide with her neighbor Leon.
After Leon saved M, M asked L to teach her to be a killer because she wanted to revenge for her litter brother. She asked over and over again and showed her talent on it. Finally, L promised to teach M.
Mathilda tried to revenge by herself but was caught by Stan. When L saved M again, Stan called up all his soldiers to kill they two, they are in great danger.
In the end of the movie, Mathilda lived alone with Leon’s orchid plants.
This movie has a message: Without love we are dead, even if we don't see it. Only true love gives meaning to our lives. The feeling in this film is art, subtle and beautiful.
《这个杀手不太冷》虽然有个灰暗的结尾，但是作为导演，吕克·贝松还是给了它以希望。最后，玛蒂尔达重新回到福利院过正常人的生活，放弃了当杀手的意愿，隐喻了她将会有个美好的未来。她将里昂的绿萝移植到土地里，延续了这个不太冷的杀手里昂的生命。
