In a future entirely controlled by how people rate others on social media. All the legal citizen will have their eyes implanted a special chip to check out the score of those people around you.

Everyone has a overall score according to the stars people give you through their mobile phone. People who get 4 out of five can enjoy privilege, while those whose score is less than 1 can hardly survive.
手机上都装有评分系统，对其他人的任何事都可以给一到五星的评价。这些分数综合起来就成了对每个人的评价，4分以上受人尊重，3分以上普普通通，2分以上倍受鄙视，1分以上就举步维艰了。
Lacie, our leading character, lives in a future world where people's status is governed by their rating on social media. She is a 4.2 and needs to be a 4.5 to be able to afford to rent an apartment at the plush Pelican Cove compound.
女主莱希就生活在这样被社交媒体控制的世界。 她必须要把自己的分数从4.2提升到4.5才能租到一栋位于鹈鹕湾的高档公寓。
However, most of her interaction are confined to her inner circle, and they are largely mid-to low a ton of reciprocal five stars from service industry workers, but there’s not much else. So in terms of quality, she could use a punch up right there to increase her score in a short term.

No matter how many points you’ve got, the cancer doesn’t give a shit, it just keep growing. So how does the so-called high points make sense?

It’s not late to take a tumble, Lacie realizes that all those high-fours are so hypocritical and merciless, and she crashes the wedding from which she is now barred for her low status and blasts off against Naomie, her pretentious circle of friends and the system.
莱希经历了一切，恍然大悟，发现追求分数只会使人变得虚伪无情，所以她冲到由于自己分数降低而被拒绝的婚礼现场大闹一场。
Consequently, Lacie loses all her score and get arrested. In the police station, the chip is taken out of her eyes. At that every moment, the true world unfolds before her. For the first time, she starts saying what she wnated when she wanted. For the first time, she is happy.

In this world, we are all so caught up in our own heads. It is easy to lose sight of what is real and what matters.
