先从一个问题谈起：考研英语（一）的大作文主要考察图画作文的形式。开篇句可以有多少种写法？
答案是：不计其数，因为只要你写的是与图画相关的内容，均可接受。
以下的功能句，既能用于整篇作文的开篇，亦可用于第二、三段的写作；而这些功能句通过逻辑关系排序、连接起来其实就组合成一篇作文。
1. ……值得关注——be worth doing/n.
用于全文首句：这幅图片很值得关注，因为画家关注当代中国家庭教育。
This picture is particularly worth concerning for the reason that the painter pays great attention to the contemporary family education in China.
用于二段：这种现象或趋势很值得关注，因为年轻人只关注了明星时尚但肤浅的生活方式，忽略了明星身上的美德。
This phenomenon or tendency is particularly worth concerning for the reason that young people focus only on stars’ fashionable but superficial lifestyles, ignoring the significant virtues of stars.
用于推荐：这部电影很值得观看。
This movie is particularly worth watching.
这本书很值得一读。
This book is particularly worth reading.
这些景点很值得参观。
These scenic spots are quite worth visiting.
这样的图片能自然联系到对书的两种不同态度。
These drawings can be naturally associated with two distinct attitudes toward books.
2. 现象：
用于全文首句：在当今社会，很多年轻人对各种各样的明星着迷,下图就是两个例子。
A host of youngsters, in the contemporary society, are fascinated with various stars. Cases in point are the pictures below.
用于中间段：
在当今社会，很多人买了很多书，但几乎不读书。
A host of people, in the contemporary society, purchased a considerable quantity of books, but scarcely have they read books.
3. 突出特征：
这个图片突出的特征体现在手机对现代生活的积极和消极影响：在图中，……
This cartoon is best characterized by the negative and positive impacts of cell phone upon the contemporary life. (In the drawing, …)
用于二、三段：

4. 比喻：
用于全文首句：合作能被比喻成一条路，通向成功。例如下图中，……

用于二或三段：在我看来，文化交流能被比喻成一座桥，连接中国和世界。
Cultural communication, to my understanding, can be likened to a bridge, which connects China and the world.
5. 排比+意义
用于全文首句：作为一种重要的品质，自信带给我们希望，唤起我们队成功的热情，帮助我们战胜困难。然而，图画中的两个人却缺乏自信。具体来讲，……
Confidence, as a vital quality, brings us hope, arouses our enthusiasm for success and helps us conquer difficulties. However, the two men in the picture are not confident. To be specific, ...
用于二或三段：
读书，作为一种好习惯，能带给我们知识，唤起我们对生活的热爱，帮助们每天进步。
Reading, as a positive habit, can bring us knowledge, inspire our passion for life and help us make progress every day.
6. 危害：
事实上，“放弃”这种想法已经构成了一种障碍，阻碍着很多人在工作、生活和学习中的成长和进步。
As a matter of fact, the thought of “giving up” may constitut an obstacle that hinders many people’s growth and progress in work, life and study.
7. 观点：
用于全文首句：作为一名游客，我相信下图中的行为是及其不雅的。
I, as a tourist, deem that the behaviors in the picture are rather uncivilized.
用于二或三段：作为一名年轻人，我认为我们有必要买书，更有必要读书来获取知识。
As a youngster, I believe that it is quite necessary for us to purchase books, and it is of greater necessity to acquire knowledge by reading books.
8. 号召：
教育孩子时，父母应该牢牢记住：榜样的力量是无穷的。
When educating the children, parents should bear in mind that the power of a positive model is infinite.
9. 图片描述范例
在一个巨大的温室中，有一支精致的小花，正茁壮成长并盛开，旁边的温室保护她免收外面的风雨。（环境+人/物+动作+周围或身上的事物）
Inside a huge warm house, there is a delicate flower, growing vigorously and blossoming, with the house protecting it from the outside storm.
尽管它在温室里看着很健康强壮，但被放置在风雨中后很快就凋谢了，叶子随风飘落。（although 引导让步状语，表对比反差）
Although it seems strong and healthy in the greenhouse, the plant dies quickly after it is put in the rain, with its petals falling in the wind.
最后/首先，若干汉字能被注意到，内容是：温室的花朵经不起风雨。（被动+定从：文字说明）
Eventually/Initially, several Chinese characters can be noticed, which say that the flower in the greenhouse cannot withstand the storm.
这样的情景第一次眼看上去好玩，但再一想很值得深思。
This scene looks funny at the first sight but enlightening on the second thought.
10. 提建议：
社会、家庭、学校应该营造一种好的氛围去批判、拒绝和抵制公共场所的不道德行为。
The society as a whole should foster a positive atmosphere to criticize, reject and restrain the immoral behaviors in public places.
