今天分享一首 Deep Purple (深紫乐队）的《 Burn 》。

今天带来的歌曲来自Deep Purple1974年2月发行的同名专辑《 Burn 》，这也是他们第一张以所谓的Mark III阵容（第三阵容）为特点的专辑。该阵容是在Ian Gillan，Roger Glover离开后形成的。阵容成员包括：

David Coverdale -歌手

Ritchie Blackmore - 吉他

Glenn Hughes - 贝斯和人声

Jon Lord - 键盘

Ian Paice - 鼓

这张专辑有两个特点：

第一这张专辑标志着乐队音乐新方向的开始。随着以布鲁斯为主导的主唱David Coverdale和受放克风影响的摇滚贝斯手兼歌手Glenn Hughes 的加入，乐队开始远离传统的硬摇滚的声音。

第二乐队中有两个歌手，两个歌手又是唱不同感觉的，他们应对不同歌曲会选择交换主唱。

这首同名歌曲作为这张专辑的开场曲目，它与他们的另一首作品《Highway Star》都被认为是可以用在任何专辑的最好开场曲。

在发行后的接下来两年时间里，他们演出的开场曲都使用了这首。取代了之前的《Highway Star》。

1984年Ian Gillan重回了深紫，取代了David Coverdale之后。他们乐队就基本不演奏这首歌了。但是他们成员分散到其他乐队的时候还是会把这首歌拿出来演奏，甚至在自己的个人专辑中重录这首，经典就是经典。不唱怎么行。

这首作品由新歌手David Coverdale和Ritchie Blackmore共同完成，里面加入了Ritchie Blackmore典型的猛烈吉他的感觉。

根据Jerry Bloom的的传记《黑骑士》（Black Knight）中记载。这首歌的音乐灵感来自Gershwin的歌曲《Fascinating Rhythm》。

David Coverdale说：“我是刚来乐队的人，但从一开始我就参与写《Burn》。我在英格兰与Glenn Hughes一起创作歌词。”
