small hours 凌晨=wee hours / early hours

the early hours of the morning, between 12 o'clock at night and the time when the sun rises.

清晨，从晚上12点到太阳升起的时间。

其他关于时间相关的两个英语小知识点：

① in the morning 在早上；而具体指某个早上，则介词需要用on，比如：on this Sunday morning。

② on Sunday 在星期天；而Sunday也可以加s，表示经常性，表示每个周日，比如on Sundays 在每个周日。
