我们站在历史巨人之肩眺望沙海，那一缕缕纹样如同生活的缩影流烟，映射着不同时期，不同地域，不同民族，不同人们的点点滴滴。
非洲大陆的人们是不惧贫乏与枯燥，岩画与粗陶上绘制涡纹流露出追寻美的信仰；长安城贯连着古丝绸之路，包容世界的风格，唐之纹样呈现大国风范。蒙古的汉子呼麦情歌追逐天际，心爱的姑娘把哈布特格交予……纹样，充满了人间烟火的味道。

纹藏作为中国纹样的首家开源数据库平台，致力于纹样的传承、创新与应用。而今天，纹藏举办纹藏国际纹样大赛，旨在进一步推广纹样的发展，启迪设计师的历史思考和设计表达，探索纹样的传承性、应用性、学术性和规模性。

We are looking at the world ocean, by standing on the shoulders of historical giants. The pieces of pattern like the epitome of life, reflecting different periods, regions and nationalities.
People on the African continent are not afraid of poverty and dryness. The vortex patterns painted on rock paintings and rough pottery reveal the belief of pursuing beauty. Chang'An, the city where runs through the ancient Silk Road, embracing the world style and the pattern of Tang Dynasty presents.
The pattern is full of the taste of fireworks.
Applying beauty to life is the highest level of beauty.
WenZang is a repository of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, Chinese designers’ materials, Chinese Academy of Aesthetics. In the future, we will provide more than 500 thematic databases and more than 50,000 Chinese pattern design materials. Comprehensive, rare, exquisite, safe and accurate Chinese patterns will be found here。
This year, WenZang will hold the【WZD Award】to designers. The purpose of China pattern contest is to further promote Chinese pattern, inspire designers' historical thinking and design heritage expression, explore the inheritance, application, academic and scale of pattern design.

1.征稿：
中国内陆及港澳台地区，凡年龄在18周岁以上的设计师、设计机构、高等院校设计专业师生以及有相关设计实践的人士均可投稿参评。
2.中国特邀：
特别邀请中国50位活跃在设计领域的一线设计师参展“中国纹明力量”特展，特邀设计师不参与奖项评选。
3.国际特邀：
特别邀请国际50位活跃在设计领域的一线设计师参展“纹样时光”特展，特邀设计师不参与奖项评选。
1、Soliciting contributions
It is mainly aimed at designers, design institutions, teachers and students of design major in Colleges and universities , as well as people with relevant design practice.
2、Special invitation
50 overseas first-line designers whom are activing in the field of design are specially invited to participate in the "WZD" special exhibition. Another, the specially invited designers do not participate in the award selection.

V. Submission Requirements
1、原创
投稿作品须为作者原创，并为独立著作权，不得侵犯他人著作权等相关权利。包括作品之前未曾投递其他奖项并获奖，未曾投递竞标并中标，未用于商业项目或委托设计。
2、提交电子稿
投稿作品一律提交电子稿件，文件规格为：PDF，CMYK色彩模式，内置图片精度不低于300dpi，PDF的尺寸为A3幅面。请在下载区下载作品模版。
3、提交作品登记表
每位作者需以Word文档的形式，填写并提交投稿登记表一份。请在下载区下载参赛表格。
4、提交承诺与授权书
每位作品需签名作品承诺与授权书，机构作品请加盖公章，并以jpg的高清扫描件形式提交。请在下载区下载承诺授权书，分为个人版和机构版。
5.投稿方式
通过电子邮件，按上述要求，将投稿作品和投稿登记表、作品承诺与授权书等压缩包一次性发送到组委会电子邮箱：wenzang2020@gmail.com。
6、命名
投稿作品的邮件、压缩包名为：姓名+所在单位+作品类别+作品题目。
7、数量
每位作者投稿作品不能超过3个系列（或3个独立单件），系列作品不超过10幅/组。建议与鼓励投稿有系列性和完整性的作品。
1、Original
Contributions must be original and independent. The work shall not infringe upon the copyright or other relevant rights of others. No other awards have been submitted and won, no bids have been submitted and won, and they have not been used in commercial projects or commissioned designs.
2、Works in electronic form
The submitted works are submitted in electronic form. The document specification is: PDF, CMYK color mode. The built-in picture accuracy is not less than 300dpi. The size of PDF is A3 format. Please download the work template in the download area.

6、Quantity of works
No more than 3 Series (or 3 independent single pieces) can be contributed by each author. No more than 10 pieces / group can be contributed by each series. Encourage the submission of works with series and integrity.

VII. Award
1.奖项设置：
（1）全场大奖（金、银、铜奖）；
（2）图案组别、服饰及纺织品组别、文创组别、平面组别、环境艺术组别各设立特别奖；
（3）作品入围奖；
（4）最佳人气奖25名；
（5）优秀指导教师奖（凡组织15人以上的院校机构或指导教师具备评奖资格）。
2.奖金与荣誉：
金奖证书及奖金10000元、银奖证书及奖金6000元、铜奖证书及奖金3000元（均为税前）。本届大奖的获奖作者将择优推荐在纹藏及各大专业媒体做专题访谈或专题报道，最大限度宣传展示其设计成就。所有金银铜大奖作品将入编“纹藏艺术纹样库”，并颁发《入库资格证书》。参赛视为同意本条款，条款细则请浏览“作品承诺与授权书”。
特别奖颁发纸质证书及文创纪念品；优秀作品奖颁发电子版证书。
1、Award setting
(1)Grand Prize (gold, silver, bronze);

(5) Excellent instructor Award (institutions or instructors with more than 15 members have the qualification to award).
2、Bonus and honor
(1)Gold certificate and bonus: ¥10,000 RMB,
silver certificate and bonus: ¥6,000 RMB,
copper certificate and bonus: ¥3,000 RMB.
(all before tax).
(2) The winners of this award will recommend special interviews or special reports in print collection and major professional media to maximize their design achievements.
(3) All gold, silver and copper prize works will be included in the "art pattern library of pattern collection" and issued with "warehousing qualification certificate".
(4) Paper certificates and cultural and creative souvenirs will be awarded for special awards, and electronic certificates will be awarded for outstanding works.

IX. Press time
大赛从即日开始。
1.投稿专区
投稿参赛的作品至2020年5月16日截稿，以组委会收到稿件的时间为准。
2.特展专区
特邀参展“中国纹明力量”特展以及“纹样时光”特展的作品至2020年3月12日截稿，以组委会收到稿件的时间为准。
2020年7月-9月，在纹藏中国及各大专业媒体公布获奖名单，同期颁发相关证书、奖金与礼品。
1、Submission works
Tentatively, the deadline is set for 2020.5.16, during which time the final review will take place.

The works invited to participate in "China's Wenming power" special exhibition will be finalized on 2020.3.12，subject to the time when the Organizing Committee receives the contributions.
