记得那是2011年10月6日的清晨，好友给我发了一条QQ信息。他说昨天乔布斯走了，他感觉仿佛失去了生活中很重要的一部分。乔布斯是他最敬佩的人之一。这样的天才，许是上帝也想高薪聘请他，而他接受了这个offer。
Steve Jobs虽然离开，但他不仅为我们留下了苹果的许多精良、优质的产品，留下了苹果创新、极致的企业文化，还留下了一笔精神财富，那就是告诉所有人，要努力让自己的生命过得有意义。

For the past 33 years, I've looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself

'If today were the last day of my life, would I wanna do what I'm about to do today?'

And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row,

I know I need to change something.
我就知道我该作出点改变了。
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.
告诫自己我将不久于人世，是我得到的最重要的工具，它帮助我作出人生中最重大的决定。
Because almost everything, all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment of failure, these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.
因为所有事物：所有外界的期望、所有荣誉、所有因失败和尴尬产生的畏惧，在死亡面前，只是身外之物，也让我明白什么才是真正重要的。
Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.
告诫自己你将要死去，在我认为，是避免患得患失心态的最佳方式。
You are already naked, there is no reason not to follow your heart.
既然已然身无长物，就没有理由不去追随自己的心声。
About a year ago,I was diagnosed with cancer.I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning.
大约一年前，我被确诊患癌。那天早晨七点半，我做了断层扫描。
And it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas.I didn't even know what a pancreas was.
画面清晰的显示出胰腺里有一个肿瘤，当时我甚至不知道胰腺为何物。
The doctors told me this was almost certainly type of cancer that is incurable and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months.
医生告诉我这相当于一种绝症，我只剩下三到六个月的日子。
My doctors advised me to go home and get my affairs in order which is doctor's code for prepare to die.
医生建议我回家把一切就绪，这是医生的委婉用语，意思是让我做好死亡的准备。
It means to try and tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next ten years to tell them in just a few months.
这意味着你原本打算用未来十年的时间去告诉孩子们的事，现在要试着在几个月内统统讲完。
It means to make sure everything is buttoned up,so it will be as easy as possible for your family.
这意味着你要妥善安排好身后之事，好让家人更容易的去接受这一切。
It means to say your goodbyes.
这意味着你要做出最后的告别。
