【YOU英语每日一课】有问题吗？有困难吗？你可以这么说！

今天我们来学习一个表达做某事有困难的句型：

I have trouble (in) doing…

我做……有困难。/我很难……。

请注意，这当中有个介词in，是可以用也可以不用的。口语中通常省略。

我们来看例句：

I have trouble pronouncing this word.

我发不好这个单词。

I have trouble remembering people’s names.

我总是记不住别人的名字。

I have trouble understanding what you say.

我无法理解你说的话。

I have trouble sleeping. I really don’t know what to do.

我有睡眠问题。我真的不知道该怎么办。

变形一：可以用不同的时态：

I had trouble coming to an agreement on this point with him.

在这一点上，我很难和他达成一致。

I've been having trouble checking my e-mail.

我一直查不到邮件。

变形二：这个句型中的trouble可以换成difficulty，句型的用法是一样的：

I have difficulty (in) doing…

我做……有困难。/我很难……。

I had difficulty in persuading her.

我很难说服她。

变形三：可以在trouble或difficulty前加上no表示没有问题或没有困难、很轻松：

I had no trouble working out this problem.

我解这道题全无难度。

I had no difficulty (in) making myself understood.

我毫不费力地表达清楚了自己的意思。

变形四：你可以把主语换为其他人称：

We had no trouble finding the address.

我们很容易地找到了地址。

Six months after the accident, he still has difficulty walking.

事故后过了六个月，他还是不能行走。

They had great difficulty in finding a replacement.

他们很难找到替代的人。
