Abstract
With the development of economy, marketing has become an important economic activity, which not only involves the competition among enterprises, but also involves the rights and interests of consumers. This paper aims to study the definition of marketing, its historical development, marketing strategies, marketing techniques, marketing models, and the future development of marketing. The research results of this paper show that marketing is a complex economic activity, which includes the transaction between enterprises and consumers, which can be realized through marketing strategies, marketing techniques and marketing models. The future development of marketing will rely more and more on technology, enterprises will use technology to improve marketing strategies, techniques and models to adapt to the changes of the market.
